ROAD TRAFFIC REGULATION ACT, 1984, SECTION 14 AS AMENDED THE ROAD TRAFFIC (TEMPORARY RESTRICTIONS) ACT 1991 AND ALL OTHER ENABLING POWERS
BRAMBLEDOWN ROAD, SOUTH CROYDON
TEMPORARY RESTRICTION OF VEHICULAR TRAFFIC
1. Croydon Council HEREBY GIVE NOTICE that to facilitate gas main connection works, they have made an Order the effect of which would be to temporarily restrict vehicular traffic movements in Brambledown Road.

2. Whilst the said works are taking place:-

(a) no person shall cause any vehicle to proceed in Brambledown Road, at its junction with Beechwood Road;

(b) parking will be suspended and waiting and loading restrictions will be applied as necessary in Brambledown Road.

3. Whilst the Order remains in force the alternative route for traffic affected by the closure will be via Heathurst Road, Sanderstead Road, Beechwood road and vice versa or Brambledown Road, Mayfield Road, Essenden Road, Beechwood Road and vice versa.

4. The restrictions detailed above will not apply to any vehicle involved in carrying out the said works, any vehicle used for ambulance, police or fire brigade purposes or to anything done with the permission of a police officer in uniform.

5. The Order will come into operation on 01 September 2020 and it is anticipated that the works will be carried out within 3 weeks. However, the Order will remain in force for 18 months to be reintroduced should further works be required.

ROAD TRAFFIC REGULATION ACT, 1984, SECTION 14 AS AMENDED AND THE ROAD TRAFFIC (TEMPORARY RESTRICTIONS) ACT 1991 NOTICE OF TEMPORARY RESTRICTION OF TRAFFIC AND PARKING DINGWALL ROAD, GEORGE STREET, LANSDOWNE ROAD & SYDENHAM ROAD, CROYDON
1. Croydon Council HEREBY GIVES NOTICE that due to the likelihood of danger to the public during the current Covid-19 pandemic, they intend to make an Order for a purpose connected to the coronavirus, which is to facilitate cycle lanes and cycle/pedestrian shared spaces to enable commuting and exercising whilst maintaining social distancing.

2. Whilst the Order remains in force its effect will be that:

a) The disabled bay outside No. 28 Dingwall Road will be relocated to the south-east side of Lansdowne Road, opposite the Ruskin Square multi- storey car park entrance. This will be in addition to the existing 5-minute maximum stay disabled bay sited there. The disabled bay will operate at any time and extend from a point 72.5 metres north-east of the north-eastern kerb-line of Dingwall Road for a distance of 6 metres north-eastwards;

b) The taxi rank element of the combined taxi rank/loading bay on Dingwall Road (adjacent to the flank wall of No. 95 George Street) will be relocated to the south-east side of Lansdowne Road, opposite the Ruskin Square multi-storey car park entrance. The relocated taxi rank will operate at any time in accordance with the existing taxi rank at this location. The loading bay element will not be relocated. The taxi rank will extend from a point 36.5 metres north-east of the north-eastern kerb-line of Dingwall Road for a distance of 30 metres north-eastwards;

c) The permit/pay and display parking bays outside Nos. 36 to 42 Dingwall Road and the construction vehicle bays outside No. 26 Dingwall Road will be removed.

d) Waiting and loading restrictions operating at any time will be installed:

(i) On the east side of Sydenham Road between Bedford Park and Dingwall Road;

(ii) On both sides of Dingwall Road between Sydenham Road and Lansdowne Road; and

(iii) In Lansdowne Road on the north-west side between the north-eastern kerb-line of the entrance to the Ruskin Square multi-storey car park and a point 64.5 metres north-east of that kerb-line.

e) The Lansdowne Road/Dingwall Road junction will be closed at the roundabout so that traffic travelling westbound on Lansdowne Road can only proceed northbound on Dingwall Road and traffic travelling eastbound on Lansdowne Road can only proceed southbound on Dingwall Road.

f) One-way working will be introduced at the following locations:

(i) Dingwall Road - northbound between Lansdowne Road and Sydenham Road;

(ii) Lansdowne Road - westbound between Dingwall Road and the Ruskin Square car park lay-by;

(iii) George Street - eastbound for bicycles, buses and taxis from the park Lane/Wellesley Road junction.

g) Two-way working for traffic will be introduced in Lansdowne Road between Wellesley Road and Walpole Road.

3. Note: The above restrictions are being introduced to facilitate cycle lanes and cycle/pedestrian shared spaces which will be implemented as described in the Schedule to this Notice.

4. The Order will come into operation on 21 August 2020 and will remain in force for a maximum duration of 18 months.

5. These restrictions shall not apply in respect of:

(a) a vehicle being used for fire brigade, ambulance or police purposes;

(b) anything done with the permission of a police constable in uniform or a civil enforcement officer;

(c) a vehicle being used for the purposes of a statutory undertaker in an emergency, such as the loss of supplies of gas, electricity or water to premises in the area, which necessitates the bringing of vehicles into a section of road to which the order applies.

NOTICE OF TEMPORARY AMENDMENT OF PARKING & LOADING BAYS
HIGH STREET, KATHARINE STREET & PARK STREET, CROYDON
1. Croydon Council HEREBY GIVES NOTICE that due to the likelihood of danger to the public during the current Covid-19 pandemic, they intend to make an Order for a purpose connected to the coronavirus, which is to facilitate segregated space for tables and chairs associated with the Spread Eagle and the Clock Tower and cycle lanes to enable commuting and exercising whilst maintaining social distancing.

2. Whilst the Order remains in force its effect will be that:

a) The taxi rank on the west side of High Street, Croydon, outside Nos. 2 to 6, will be relocated to the east side of the High Street, Croydon, extending from a point opposite the common boundary of Nos. 2 to 4 and No 6 High Street southwards for 12 metres;

b) The loading bay on the west side of High Street, Croydon, outside Nos. 8 to 10, will be relocated to the north side of Park Street, extending from a point opposite the eastern boundary of No.15, High Street, Croydon, westward for 12 metres;

c) The special permit holder's bay on the south side of Katharine Street outside the Town Hall will be relocated east of its current position, extending from a point 8.8 metres west of the western kerb-line of Fell Road westward for 10.5 metres.

d) A new loading bay operating between 6am and 10am each day will be implemented outside The Spreadeagle, Nos. 39 to 45 High Street, Croydon, extending from a point opposite the northern flank wall of Nos. 39 to 45 High Street southwards for 12 metres. Outside of its operational hours, loading restrictions will apply to this bay.

e) Each relocated bay will be replaced with waiting and loading restrictions operating "at any time".

3. Note: The above restrictions are being introduced to facilitate cycle lanes which will be implemented in the High Street and in Mint Walk, as described in the Schedule to this Notice.

4. The Order will come into operation on 21 August 2020 and will remain in force for a maximum duration of 18 months.

5. These restrictions shall not apply in respect of:

(a) a vehicle being used for fire brigade, ambulance or police purposes;

(b) anything done with the permission of a police constable in uniform or a civil enforcement officer;

(c) a vehicle being used for the purposes of a statutory undertaker in an emergency, such as the loss of supplies of gas, electricity or water to premises in the area, which necessitates the bringing of vehicles into a section of road to which the order applies.

1. Croydon Council HEREBY GIVES NOTICE that due to the likelihood of danger to the public during the current Covid-19 pandemic, they intend to make an Order for purposes connected to the coronavirus, which are to facilitate safer access for residents to their streets and enable them to cycle, exercise and maintain social distancing.

2. Whilst the Order remains in force its effect will be to close the roads shown in column one of the Schedule to this Notice at their junctions with the roads shown in column two of that Schedule or at the location specified in column two of that Schedule.

3. The Order will come into operation on 21 August 2020 and will remain in force for a maximum duration of 18 months.

4. Whilst the closures are in force, the diversion routes for traffic will be via Auckland Road, Belvedere Road, Cintra Park, Patterson Road and Milestone Road, or via Auckland Road, Hamlet Road, Anerley Hill and Church Road.

5. These restrictions shall not apply in respect of:

(a) a pedal cycle;

(b) a vehicle being used for fire brigade, ambulance or police purposes;

(c) anything done with the permission of a police constable in uniform or a civil enforcement officer;

(d) a vehicle being used for the purposes of a statutory undertaker in an emergency, such as the loss of supplies of gas, electricity or water to premises in the area, which necessitates the bringing of vehicles into a section of road to which the order applies;

1. Croydon Council HEREBY GIVES NOTICE that to facilitate gas main replacement works, they intend to make an Order the effect of which would be to temporarily restrict traffic in Rydons Lane.

2. Whilst the said works are taking place Rydons Lane will be closed outside Nos. 13 to 19 Rydons Lane.

3. Whilst the closure is in operation the alternative route for traffic will be via Caterham Drive, Waddington Avenue, Homefield Drive and Stites Hill Road and vice versa, as appropriately signed.

4. The Order will come into operation on 24 August 2020 and it is anticipated that the works will be carried out within approximately six weeks. However, the Order will remain in force for 18 months to be reintroduced should further works be required.

5. The restriction shall not apply in respect of:

(a) any vehicle involved in carrying out the said works;

(b) any vehicle being used for fire brigade, ambulance or police purposes;

(c) anything done with the permission of a police constable in uniform or a Civil Enforcement Officer.
