(Temporary Introduction of Clearway) Order 2020

Notice is hereby given that the Essex County Council intends, not less than seven days from the date of this notice, to make the above Order under section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984.

Effect of the order:

1. To temporarily introduce a ‘No Waiting, No Stopping and No Loading’ restriction in that length of Green Road, Finchingfield in the District of Braintree from its junction with Brent Hall Road to its junction with The Green a distance of approximately 95m.

2. To temporarily introduce a ‘No Waiting, No Stopping and No Loading’ restriction in that length of Brent Hall Road, Finchingfield in the District of Braintree from its junction with Green Road to its junction with The Green a distance of approximately 58m.

3. To temporarily introduce a ‘No Waiting, No Stopping and No Loading’ restriction in that length of The Causeway, Finchingfield in the District of Braintree from both junctions with The Green for a distance of approximately 60m in a northerly direction.

4. To temporarily introduce a ‘No Waiting, No Stopping and No Loading’ restriction in that length of Bridge Street, Finchingfield in the District of Braintree from its junction with The Green for a distance of approximately 25m in a southerly direction.

“The Essex County Council (Braintree District) (Prohibition of Waiting, Loading and Stopping) and (On Street Parking Places) (Civil Enforcement Area) Consolidation Order 2019” will be temporarily amended to include the temporary ‘No Waiting at Any Time’ restriction and suspend any existing parking and waiting restrictions on the above lengths of roads only. All other restrictions and exemptions contained in the aforementioned Order and Amendments to that Order shall remain in force.

The restrictions are scheduled to commence on 17th August 2020 for 11 days, or where stated on a valid permit (EP201EH10002931 – Essex County Council).
