Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984
(Hill Street, Worcester) (Temporary Closure) Order 2020
Order made: to close that part of Hill Street from
its junction with Cecil Road to its junction with
Spring Hill.
Reason: New/Replacement Gas Main.
Exemptions: to permit access to any land or premises
fronting the highway affected where there is no
other form of access; and to allow the works to be
undertaken.
Alternative route: Hill Street, Tallow Hill, B4205
Midland Road, C2290 Wylds Lane, Stanley Road and
vice versa.
Maximum duration: 18 Months. Anticipated duration:
19 days. Commencing: 10 August 2020.
(A4440 Parsonage Way, Warndon)(Temporary
Closure) Order 2020
Order Made: to close that part of A4440 Parsonage
Way from its junction with A4440 Warndon Way to
its junction with A4440 Grange Way.
Reason: Carriageway S278 Development Works by
Fitzgerald Contractors Ltd.
Exemptions: to permit access to any land or premises
fronting the highway affected where there is no
other form of access; and to allow the works to be
undertaken.
Alternative route: A4440 Grange Way, A4440
Nunnery Way, A44 Spetchley Road, A4538 Pershore
Lane, A4538 Pershore Lane, A4440 Warndon Way and
vice versa.
Maximum duration: 18 Months. Anticipated duration:
5 days. Commencing: 10 August 2020.
(U54016 Stallard Road, Worcester)(Temporary
Closure) Order 2020
Proposed Order: to close that part of U54016 Stallard
Road from its junction with U54001 Fern Road to its
junction with U54015 Himbleton Road.
Reason: Carriageway Resurfacing by WCC.
Exemptions: to permit access to any land or premises
fronting the highway affected where there is no
other form of access; and to allow the works to be
undertaken.
Alternative route: U54015 Himbleton Road, U54001
Fern Road and vice versa.
Maximum duration: 18 Months. Anticipated duration:
17 days. Commencing: 2 September 2020.
(Park Street, Worcester)(Temporary Closure)
Order 2020
Proposed Order: to close that part of Park Street from
its junction with C2290 Wylds Lane to its junction with
Derby Road.
Reason: Hydrant – replace/renew lid by Severn Trent
Water.
Exemptions: to permit access to any land or premises
fronting the highway affected where there is no
other form of access; and to allow the works to be
undertaken.
Alternative route: Park Street, Foundry Street, St Pauls
Street, George Street, Tallow Hill, B4205 Midland
Road, C2290 Wylds Lane and vice versa.
Maximum duration: 18 Months. Anticipated duration:
1 day. Commencing: 1 September 2020.
(Malvern Hills District) (Civil Enforcement Area)
(Waiting Restrictions and Street Parking Places)
Consolidation Order 2013 (Variation) Order 2020
[Prohibition of Waiting on B4204 Clifton Upon
Teme]
On 23 July 2020 Worcestershire County Council
made an Order the effect of which will be to prohibit
waiting at any time on the following length and side
of road in Clifton Upon Teme:-
B4204 (north side) from a point 14.3 metres east of its
junction with Pound Lane for a distance of 34.5 metres
in a westerly direction.
The Order will vary the above Consolidation Order
(which provides for civil enforcement of contraventions
of waiting prohibitions and restrictions) and will
contain exemptions to allow parking/access for
certain purposes.
The Order will come into operation on 13 August
2020.

The validity of the Council’s powers in making the
Order or this exercise of them may be questioned by
application to the High Court within 6 weeks from the
date on which the Order was made.
(Footpath WR-538, Worcester)(Temporary Closure
Order) 2020
Proposed order: to close Footpath WR-538,
Worcester for its entire length.
The order: is being made to facilitate works for a New
Hockey Centre.
Exemptions: to permit access to any land or premises
having a frontage to the highway affected where there
is no other form of access; and to allow the necessary
works to be undertaken.
Alternative route: is along Footpaths WR-835,
WR-833, WR-834, A38 Droitwich Road and vice versa.
The proposed Order will continue in force for a period
not exceeding 6 months or until the works which it is
proposed to be carried out have been completed,
whichever is the earlier. However, it is anticipated that
the Order will be operative for 6 months commencing
on 1 September 2020.
