(Burstead Drive, Great Burstead and South Green) (Temporary Prohibition of Traffic) Order 2020

Notice is hereby given that the Essex County Council has made the above Order under section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984. Effect of the order: To temporarily close that length of Burstead Drive, Great Burstead and South Green in the Borough of Basildon, from its junction with Southend Road for a distance of approximately 20m in a westerly direction. The closure is scheduled to commence on 3rd August 2020 for 19 days, or where stated on a valid permit (AZ0071000859347 - Cadent). The scheduled dates may vary for these works with appropriate signs showing and/or displayed on

www.roadworks.org

. The closure is required for the safety of the public and workforce while gas main replacement works are undertaken by Cadent.

An alternative route is available via Burstead Drive, The Redinge, Tyrrells Road, Southend Road and vice versa. The Order came into effect on 23rd July 2020 and may continue in force for 18 months or until the works have been completed, whichever is the earlier

(Creeksea Ferry Road, Canewdon/ Ballards Gove) (Temporary Introduction of 40mph Speed Limit) Order 2020

Notice is hereby given that the Essex County Council has made the above Order under section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984. Effect of the order: To temporarily introduce a 40mph speed limit in that length of Creeksea Ferry Road, Canewdon/Ballards Gore in the District of Rochford, from its junction with Lambourne Hall Road for a distance of approximately 1405m in a southwesterly direction. The temporary speed limit is scheduled to commence on 3rd August 2020 for 26 days, or where stated on a valid permit (BC111WALVR60X003 - BT). The scheduled dates may vary for these works with appropriate signs showing and/or displayed on one.network. The temporary speed limit is required for the safety of the public and workforce while spine cabling works are undertaken by BT. The Order will come into effect on 30th July 2020 and may continue in force for 18 months or until the works have been completed, whichever is the earlier.
