ROAD TRAFFIC REGULATION ACT. 1984. SECTION 14 AS AMENDED THE ROAD TRAFFIC (TEMPORARY RESTRICTIONS) ACT 1991
AND ALL OTHER ENABLING POWERS BROADCOOMBE. SOUTH CROYDON TEMPORARY RESTRICTION OF PARKING
1. Croydon Council HEREBY GIVE NOTICE that to facilitate a vehicle holding area and access for construction vehicles involved in building development works at St Francis Church, No. 163 Tedder Road, they have made an Order the effect of which would be to temporarily restrict parking in Broadcoombe, South Croydon.

2. Whilst the said works are taking place:-

(a) A construction vehicle holding bay will be introduced and restricted to authorised permit holders only between 7am and 7pm, Monday to Friday, on the north-west (even numbered) side of Broadcoombe, extending from a point 14.5 m south-west of the south-western boundary of No. 140 Broadcoombe, south-westwards (towards Edgecoombe) for a distance of 10 metres.

(b) Waiting restrictions will apply between 7am and 7pm, Monday to Friday on the south-east (odd-numbered) side of Broadcoombe from the south-western kerb-line of the dropped kerb access to St Francis Church, No. 163 Tedder Road, south-westwards for a distance of 6 metres.

3. The restrictions shall not apply in respect of:

(a) any construction vehicle parked in the above bay displaying a valid permit;

(b) any vehicle being used for fire brigade, ambulance or police purposes;

(c) anything done with the permission of a police constable in uniform or a Civil Enforcement Officer.

4. The Order will come into operation on 31 July 2020 and will remain in force for a maximum duration of 18 months.

The Crovdon (On-Street Charged-For Parking Places) (Amendment No.K79) Order 20-
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that Croydon Council proposes to make the above Traffic Orders under section 6 of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, as amended and all other enabling powers.
1. The general effect of the Orders would be to:
(a) Revoke the disabled parking places in the vicinity of 65 Addington Road, West Croydon, 48 Belmont Road, South Norwood, 332 Brigstock Road, Thornton Heath, 79 Dalmeny Avenue, Norbury, 12 Earlswood Avenue, Thornton Heath, 52 Exeter Road Croydon, 100 Gascoigne Road, New Addington, 39 Oaklands Avenue, Thornton Heath, 92 Osward, Court Wood Lane, Croydon, 52 Sunnydene Road, Purley, 1 Thirsk Road, South Norwood, 56 Warminster Road, South Norwood, 93 Woodville Road, Thornton Heath and 95 Woodville Road, Thornton Heath.

(b) Designate new parking places at which vehicles displaying a disabled persons' badge may be left without charge or time limit in the following locations.

(c) Amend the map-based tiles to the Schedule attached to the above Orders so as to accurately represent the new parking arrangements as they exist on site.
3. A copy of the proposed Orders and of all related Orders, of the Council's statement of reasons for proposing to make the Orders and of the plans which indicate each length of road to which the Orders relate, can be inspected between 9am and 4pm on Mondays to Fridays inclusive until the last day of a period of six weeks beginning with the date on which the Orders are made or, as the case may be, the Council decides not to make the Orders, at the Enquiry Counter, 'Access Croydon' Facility, Bernard Weatherill House, 8 Mint Walk, Croydon, CR0 1EA. 4. ONE-WAY WORKING MELVILLE AVENUE. SOUTH CROYDON The Crovdon (Traffic Movement) (No. 3) Order 2020
1. NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that Croydon Council on 27 July 2020 made the above Traffic Order under Section 6 and 124 of Part IV of Schedule 9 of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, as amended and all other enabling powers.

2. The general effect of the Order will be to make permanent the existing temporary one-way working arrangement which applies northbound in Melville Avenue between its junction with Coombe Road and a point 15 metres south of that junction.

3. The general effect of the Order will also be to amend the map-based tiles to the Schedules attached to the above Order so as to accurately represent the arrangements as they exist on site.

4. Copies of the Order, which will come into operation on 31 July 2020 and of all associated Orders can be inspected between 9am and 4pm on Mondays to Fridays inclusive until the end of six weeks from the date on which the Order was made, at the Enquiry Counter, "Access Croydon" Facility, Bernard Weatherill House, 8 Mint Walk, Croydon, CR0 1 EA.

6. Any person desiring to question the validity of the Order or of any provision contained therein on the grounds that it is not within the relevant powers of the Road Traffic Regulation Act, 1984 or that any of the relevant requirements thereof or of any relevant regulations made there under have not been complied with in relation to the Order may, within six weeks of the date on which the Order was made, make application for the purpose to the High Court.

ROAD TRAFFIC REGULATION ACT. 1984. SECTION 14 AS AMENDED AND THE ROAD TRAFFIC (TEMPORARY RESTRICTIONS) ACT 1991
LOW TRAFFIC INITIATIVES ELGIN ROAD. CROYDON TEMPORARY RESTRICTION OF VEHICULAR TRAFFIC
1. Croydon Council HEREBY GIVES NOTICE that due to the likelihood of danger to the public during the current Covid-19 pandemic, they have made an Order for purposes connected to the coronavirus, which are to facilitate safer access for residents to their streets and enable them to exercise and maintain social distancing.

2. Whilst it remains in force, the effect of the Order will be to close Elgin Road to vehicular traffic between 13.00 hours and 22.00 hours every Saturday and Sunday, beginning on Saturday 01 August 2020 and ending on Sunday 28 March 2021. The closure will also apply at the same times on 31 August 2020 (Bank Holiday Monday).

3. The Order will come into operation on 01 August 2020 and will remain in force until 28 March 2021.

4. Whilst the above closure is in force, the diversion routes for traffic will be via Lower Addiscombe Road, Havelock Road and Addiscombe Road (and vice versa) or (southbound only) via Lower Addiscombe Road, Clyde Road and Addiscombe Road.

5. These restrictions shall not apply in respect of:

(a) a pedal cycle;

(b) a vehicle being used for fire brigade, ambulance or police purposes;

(c) anything done with the permission of a police constable in uniform or a civil enforcement officer;

(d) a vehicle being used for the purposes of a statutory undertaker in an emergency, such as the loss of supplies of gas, electricity or water to premises in the area, which necessitates the bringing of vehicles into a section of road to which the order applies;
