BRIDLE ROAD AND MONKS ORCHARD ROAD. CROYDON
TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF VEHICULAR TRAFFIC
1. Croydon Council HEREBY GIVE NOTICE that to facilitate gas mains replacement works, they have made an Order the effect of which would be to temporarily prohibit vehicular traffic movements in Bridle Road and Monks Orchard Road, Croydon.

2. Whilst the said works are taking place, no person shall cause any vehicle to proceed in Bridle Road and Monks Orchard Road at its junctions with Wickham Road.

3. Whilst the closure remains in force the alternative route for diverted traffic will be via local streets as appropriately signed.

4. The Order will come into operation on 24 July 2020 and it is anticipated that the works will be carried out in 6 weeks. However, the Order will remain in force for 18 months to be reintroduced should further works be required. The prohibitions will only apply during such times and to such extent as shall from time to time be indicated by traffic signs.

BRIGSTOCK ROAD AND FRANT ROAD. THORNTON HEATH
TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF PARKING & PEDESTRIAN TRAFFIC
1. Croydon Council HEREBY GIVE NOTICE that to facilitate the gas mains replacement works they have made an Order the effect of which would be to temporarily prohibit parking and pedestrian traffic in Brigstock Road and Frant Road, Thornton Heath.

2. Whilst the said works are taking place:-

(a) Parking will be suspended and vehicles will be prohibited from waiting and loading at any time in the following locations.

(i) Brigstock Road, the north-west (even-numbered) side, between the common boundary of Nos. 294 and 296 Brigstock Road and the common boundary of Nos. 332 and 334 Brigstock Road.

(ii) Frant Road, the north-east (even-numbered) side, adjacent to the flank wall of No. 145 Brigstock Road.

(b) The south-eastern footway of Brigstock Road will be closed between a point opposite the common boundary of Nos. 294 and 296 Brigstock Road and a point opposite the common boundary of Nos. 310 and 312 Brigstock Road. Pedestrians will be diverted into a walkway in the carriageway.

(c) The bus stop outside Nos. 298 to 306 Brigstock Road will be suspended.

3. The Order will come into operation on 25 July 2020 and it is anticipated that the works will be completed within nine days between 7am and 4pm each day. However the Order will remain in force for 18 months to be reintroduced should further works be required. The prohibitions will only apply during such times and to such extent as shall from time to time be indicated by traffic signs.

4. These restrictions shall not apply in respect of:

(a) any vehicle involved in carrying out the said works;

(b) any vehicle being used for fire brigade, ambulance or police purposes;

(c) anything done with the permission of a police constable in uniform or a Civil Enforcement Officer.

HAYES LANE & OLD LODGE LANE JUNCTION. KENLEY
TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF VEHICULAR TRAFFIC
1. Croydon Council HEREBY GIVE NOTICE that to facilitate gas main replacement works they have made an Order the effect of which will be to temporarily close the junction of Hayes Lane and Old Lodge Lane, Kenley, to vehicular traffic.

2. Whilst the said works are taking place no person shall cause any vehicle

to proceed in Hayes Lane, Kenley, at its junction with Old Lodge Lane, or in Old Lodge Lane, Kenley, at its junction with Hayes Lane.
3. The restriction shall not apply in respect of:

(a) any vehicle involved in carrying out the said works;

(b) any vehicle being used for fire brigade, ambulance or police purposes;

(c) anything done with the permission of a police constable in uniform or a Civil Enforcement Officer.

4. Whilst the restriction is in force the diversion routes for traffic will be via Hayes Lane, Park Road, A22, and Burntwood Lane (and vice versa) or via Old Lodge Lane, A23, and A22, as appropriately signed.

5. The Order will come into operation on 27 July 2020 and it is anticipated that the works will be carried out within 13 days. However, the Order will remain in force for 18 months to be re-introduced should further works be required.

20MPH SPEED LIMIT & "AT ANY TIME" WAITING AND LOADING RESTRICTIONS
LONDON ROAD. THORNTON HEATH & CROYDON
1. Crovdon Council HEREBY GIVES NOTICE that due to the likelihood of danger to the public during the current Covid-19 pandemic, thev have made an Order for a purpose connected to the coronavirus. which is

to facilitate a cycle lane to enable commuting and exercising whilst maintaining social distancing.
2. Whilst the restrictions remain in force the effect of the Order will be that:

(a) No person shall cause a vehicle proceeding in London Road, between its junctions with Brigstock Road and St James's Road, to travel at a speed in excess of 20 miles per hour;

(b) All parking and loading bays, with the exception of those listed below, will be removed and no person shall cause a vehicle to wait, even for the purposes of loading or unloading goods, at any time, in London Road between its junctions with Brigstock Road and Bensham Lane.

- four pay and display only bays opposite the London Croydon Hotel

- disabled bay outside No. 687 London Road.

3. Note: The above restrictions are being introduced to facilitate a mandatory cycle lane, which will be implemented on both sides of London Road, between its junctions with Brigstock Road and Bensham Lane, as described in the Schedule to this Notice. An advisory cycle lane, supported by the above restrictions, will apply in those sections of London Road where the mandatory cycle lane does not apply.

4. The Order will come into operation on 24 July 2020 and will remain in force for a maximum duration of 18 months.

5. These restrictions shall not apply in respect of:

(a) a vehicle being used for fire brigade, ambulance or police purposes;

(b) anything done with the permission of a police constable in uniform or a civil enforcement officer;

(c) a vehicle being used for the purposes of a statutory undertaker in an emergency, such as the loss of supplies of gas, electricity or water to premises in the area, which necessitates the bringing of vehicles into a section of road to which the order applies;

(Mandatory Cycle Lane)
London Road between Brigstock Road and Bensham Lane
(North to South direction) along the north eastern kerb-line of London Road as follows:
a) From the south eastern kerb-line of Brigstock Road to the south- eastern kerb-line of Kingswood Avenue.

b) From a point 8 metres south of the southern kerb-line of Dunheved Road North to the four pay and display only bays opposite 'London Croydon Hotel'.

c) From a point opposite the junction with Fiveacre Close to a point 33 metres south-east of the south-eastern kerb-line of Campbell Road.

d) From the southern side of the vehicular entrance/exit of No. 386 London Road to a point 58 metres south-east of that entrance/exit.

(South to North direction) along the south western kerb-line of London Road as follows:
a) From a point 23 metres south-east of the south-eastern facing flank wall of No. 305 London Road to a point opposite the south-eastern kerb-line of Broad Green Avenue.

c) From the north-western kerb-line of Dunheved Road South to a point 14 metres south-east of the south-eastern kerb-line of Dunheved Road North.

CENTRAL HILL. WESTOW HILL & WESTOW STREET. UPPER NORWOOD
1. Croydon Council with the agreement of Lambeth Council HEREBY GIVES NOTICE that due to the likelihood of danger to the public during the current Covid-19 pandemic, they have made an Order for a purpose connected to the coronavirus, which is to ensure safety for cyclists and pedestrians whilst facilitating social distancing.

2. Whilst the Order remains in force its effect will be that no person shall cause a vehicle proceeding in the following roads or sections of road to travel at a speed in excess of 20 miles per hour.

- Central Hill - between a point 13 metres south-west of the south­western kerb-line of Gatestone Road and its junction with Westow Hill;

- Westow Hill;

- Westow Street.

3. The Order will come into operation on 24 July 2020 and will remain in force for a maximum duration of 18 months.

4. These restrictions shall not apply in respect of:

(a) a vehicle being used for fire brigade, ambulance or police purposes;

(b) anything done with the permission of a police constable in uniform or a civil enforcement officer;

(c) a vehicle being used for the purposes of a statutory undertaker in an emergency, such as the loss of supplies of gas, electricity or water to premises in the area, which necessitates the bringing of vehicles into a section of road to which the order applies;

POLLARDS HILL WEST. NORBURY
TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF TRAFFIC & PARKING
1. Croydon Council HEREBY GIVE NOTICE that to facilitate service pipe works by Thames Water, they have made an Order the effect of which will be to temporarily prohibit traffic and parking in Pollards Hill West.

2. Whilst the said works are taking place:-

a) Pollards Hill West will be closed outside No. 27 Pollards Hill West;

b) Parking will be suspended and waiting and loading restrictions will apply "at any time" on both sides of the road outside Nos. 23 to 29 Pollards Hill West.

3. Whilst the closure is in place, the alternative route for traffic will be via Pollards Hill South, Pollards Crescent and reversed, as appropriately signed.

4. The Order will come into operation on the 27 July 2020 and it is anticipated that the works will be carried out within three days. However, the Order will remain in force for 18 months to be reintroduced should further works be required.

5. These restrictions shall not apply in respect of:

(a) any vehicle involved in carrying out the said works;

(b) any vehicle being used for fire brigade, ambulance or police purposes;

(c) anything done with the permission of a police constable in uniform or a Civil Enforcement Officer.

6. The prohibitions will only apply during such times and to such extent as shall from time to time be indicated by traffic signs.
