ROAD TRAFFIC REGULATION ACT 1984 Various Rd's in Great Sankey North (Prohibition of Driving & Clearway) Temporary Order 2020 Notice is hereby given that, in not less than 7 days from the date of this Notice, the Council intends to make an Order under Section 14 of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984. The effect of which will be to introduce a prohibition of driving & clearway as follows: Entire lengths of road: Henderson Cl; Greenway; North View; Chestnut Ave; Laburnum Ln - From Liverpool Rd to a point 50m south of Friends Ln. The Order will be effective from 17th August 2020 for 5 weeks between 8:30am & 5:30pm, when signed on site. The alternative route will be as follows: Laburnum Ln via Liverpool Rd, Warrington Rd, Sandy Ln & vice versa. The restrictions are required for carriageway & footway surfacing. Ref: High/2118

Church Ln. Grappenhall (Prohibition of Driving & Clearway) (Summer) Temporary Order 2020
The effect of which is to introduce a prohibition of driving & clearway on Church Ln from its jet. with Broad Ln to its jet. with Glebe Ave. The Order will be effective from 27th July 2020 for 7 weeks between 8:30am & 5:30pm Monday to Saturday, when signed on site. The alternative route will be via Church Ln, A56 Chester Rd, A5Q Knutsford Rd, Bellhouse Ln & vice versa or via Broad Ln, Grappenhall Ln,A50 Cliff Ln, A50 Knutsford Rd, Bellhouse Ln & vice versa. The restrictions are required to allow for continuing works to Heritage Area reconstructing & relaying cobbled road surface, including work to improve drainage. Ref: High/2104

Loushers Ln (Prohibition of Driving) Temporary Order 2020
The effect of which is to introduce a prohibition of driving on Loushers Ln from its jet. with Wilderspool Cswy to its jet. with Wedgewood Dr. The Order will be effective from 2nd August 2020 for 1 day between 9am & 3:30pm when signed on site. The alternative routes will be via Wilderspool Cswy, Knutsford Rd, Station Rd & vice versa. The closure is required to allow Scottish Power to carry out tree pruning works. Ref: High/2131

South Ln, Cuerdley (Prohibition of Driving) Temporary Order 2020
The effect of which is to introduce a prohibition of driving on South Ln from the borough boundary with Halton for a distance of 60m in a south easterly direction. The Order will be effective from 7pm on 19th July 2020 to 2am on 20th July 2020 when signed on site. The alternative route will be via Derby Rd Roundabout, Watkinson Way, Fiddlers Ferry Rd, Dans Rd, Widnes Rd & vice versa. The closure is required to allow Network Rail to carry out safety examination works to the railway bridge. Reft High/2127
Smith Dr. Withers Ave & Hallows Ave (Prohibition of Driving & Footway Closure) Temporary Order 2019 Notice Is hereby given that the Council made an Order under Section 14 of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 on 19th September 2019. The effect of which was to introduce a prohibition of driving & footway closure as follows: Entire lengths of road: Smith Dr; Withers Ave; Hallows Ave. The Order was to be effective from 18th May 2020 until 27th July 2020 as advertised on 21st May 2020, however due to delays on site the works are now required to remain in place until 31st July 2020. The times/days, alternative routes & reason for the works remains the same as previously advertised. Ref: High/2017
