NOTICE OF DECISION NOT TO CONFIRM PUBLIC PATH ORDER TOWN AND COUNTRY PLANNING ACT 1990, SECTION 257/261 Town and Country Planning Act 1990 Section 257/261 The Oxfordshire County Council Marcham Footpath No.5 (part) Public Path Temporary Diversion Order 2020 The above Order made on 6th July 2020 and advertised on 9th July 2020 by Oxfordshire County Council will not be confirmed by the authority due to it containing incorrect wording. The Order has been withdrawn and replaced with a new Order as below.

Town and Country Planning Act 1990 Section 257/261 The Oxfordshire County Council Marcham Footpath No.5 (part) Public Path Temporary Diversion Order 2020 (No 2)
The above Order was made on 13th July 2020. The effect of the Order will be to temporarily divert until 30th September 2028 275m of Marcham Fp 5 at Upwood Park Quarry that runs northwards from the edge of Hitchcopse Wood at OS Grid Ref SP 4553 9982 to Marcham Byway No 18 at SP 4555 0010 to a line running north-westwards for 145m along the edge of Hitchcopse Wood from SP 4553 9982 to join the byway 215m further south-westward at SP 4542 9992 as shown on the Order map. It is not possible to view the Notice and Order at local council offices as they are temporarily closed due to the COVID 19 pandemic.

Any representations about or objections to the Order may be sent in writing to the Principal Officer, Oxfordshire County Council, Countryside Records, County Hall, New Road, Oxford OX1 1ND at
not later than 14th August 2020. Please state the grounds on which they are made. If no such representations or objections are duly made, or if any so made are withdrawn, Oxfordshire County Council may confirm the Order as an unopposed Order If the Order is sent to the Secretary of State for Environment, Food and Rural Affairs for confirmation any representations or objections which have not been withdrawn will be sent with the Order.
