Notice of Publication of the West Oxfordshire Community Infrastructure
Levy (CIL) Draft Charging Schedule
Notice is given that West Oxfordshire District Council has formally published
its Community Infrastructure Levy (CIL) Draft Charging Schedule in accordance
with Regulation 16 of the above Regulations and following a 6-week period
during which representations can be made, proposes to submit the charging
schedule for independent examination.
The draft charging schedule sets out the proposed CIL rates that West
Oxfordshire District Council intends to levy on certain forms of development
within the District in order to fund the provision of new infrastructure to
support future growth.
The Council previously submitted a CIL draft charging schedule for examination
in September 2015 but this was not progressed to adoption and has now
been formally withdrawn.
The new draft charging schedule will be formally published for a statutory
period of 6 weeks from Friday 10th July 2020 until Friday 21 August 2020.
Representations may be made in writing or by way of electronic
communications and must be received no later than 5pm on Friday
21 August 2020.

All persons making representations may request the right to be heard by the
examiner and all representations may be accompanied by a request to be
notified at a specified address of the following matters:
• that the Draft Charging Schedule has been submitted for examination;
• the publication of the recommendations of the examiner and the reasons
for those recommendations; and
• the approval of the charging schedule by the charging authority

Subject to opening restrictions imposed as a result of Covid-19, the District

arrangements such as displaying posters on the entrances to these locations
