(TEMPORARY CLOSING AND TEMPORARY WAITING RESTRICTIONS IN VARIOUS
ROADS IN SARRATT, HERONSGATE AND CHORLEYWOOD) ORDER 2020
NOTICE is given that Hertfordshire County Council intends to make an Order
under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, to prohibit all
vehicular traffic from using the following lengths of roads (“the Roads”), except
for access and to prohibit all vehicles from waiting at any time on both sides of
these lengths of Roads whilst works are in progress:-
1. that length of Church Lane, Sarratt from its junction with New Road north
eastwards to its junction with Dimmocks Lane, a distance of approximately 1023m.
An alternative route will be via New Road, North Hill, A404 (Chenies Road/
Rickmansworth Road), Solesbridge Lane, Sarratt Road and Dimmocks Lane.
2. that length of Deadmans Ash Lane, Sarratt from its junction with Bottom Lane
south westwards to its junction with Sarratt Road, a distance of approximately 754m.
An alternative route will be via Bottom Lane, Bucks Hill, Toms Hill, Chandlers Lane,
Redhall Lane and Sarratt Road.
3. that length of Long Lane, Heronsgate from its junction with Little Hill south
eastwards to its junction with the A412 Denham Way/M25 (junction 17)
roundabout, a distance of approximately 1115m.
An alternative route will be via Long Lane, Heronsgate Road, Shire Lane, Green
Street, A404 (Amersham Road/Chenies Road/Rickmansworth Road/Chorleywood
Road) and A412 (Rectory Road/Uxbridge Road/Denham Way).
4. that length of North Hill, Chorleywood from its junction with New Road south
westwards and north westwards to its junctions with A404 Chenies Road, a
distance of approximately 1141m.
An alternative route will be via New Road, Church Lane, Dimmocks Lane, Sarratt
Road, Solesbridge Lane and A404 (Rickmansworth Road/Chenies Road).
5. that length of Rousebarn Lane, Croxley Green from its junction with Fir Tree Hill
south eastwards for a distance of approximately 1045m.
There is no alternative route available for vehicles when the works are being
carried out. However vehicular access to properties in this road will be maintained
whenever possible throughout the duration of the works.
The Order is needed because works are proposed to be executed on or near
the Roads.
If the Order is made, it shall come into force on 13 July 2020 for a period of up
to 18 months. However, the restrictions specified shall only take effect at the times
indicated by signs on or near the Roads.

(TEMPORARY CLOSING AND TEMPORARY WAITING RESTRICTIONS IN
MOOR VIEW, WATFORD) ORDER 2020
NOTICE is given that Hertfordshire County Council intends to make an Order under
Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, to prohibit all vehicular
traffic from using that length of Moor View, Watford from its junction with Vicarage
Road south eastwards to its junction with Jellicoe Road (“the Road”), a distance
of approximately 70m, except for access.
An alternative route will be via Vicarage Road and Moor View.
ADDITIONALLY all vehicles are prohibited from waiting at any time on both sides
of this length of the Road whilst works are in progress.
The Order is needed because works are proposed to be executed on or near
the Road.
If the Order is made, it shall come into force on 13 July 2020 for a period of up
to 18 months. However, the restrictions specified shall only take effect at the times
indicated by signs on or near the Road.

NOTICE is given that Hertfordshire County Council has made the above Order under
Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, to prohibit all vehicular
traffic from using the following lengths of roads (“the Roads”), except for access
and to prohibit all vehicles from waiting at any time on both sides of these lengths
of Roads whilst works are in progress:-
1. that length of Homefield Road, Bushey from its junction with Bournehall Avenue
north westwards, south westwards, north westwards, north eastwards and north
westwards to its junction with Finch Lane, a distance of approximately 530m.
An alternative route will be via Bournehall Avenue, Herkomer Road and Finch Lane.
2. that length of Bournehall Avenue, Bushey from its junction with Moatfield Road
south westwards to its junction with Herkomer Road, a distance of approximately 520m.
An alternative route will be via Homefield Road, Finch Lane and Herkomer Road or
via Moatfield Road, Harcourt Road, Palmer Avenue, Melbourne Road & Bourne Road.
3. that length of Spring Crofts, Bushey from its junction with Homefield Road
south eastwards and north eastwards for its entire length.
There is no alternative route available for vehicles when the works are being
carried out. However vehicular access to properties in this road will be maintained
whenever possible throughout the duration of the works.
4. that length of Finch Lane, Bushey from its junction with Herkomer Road north
westwards, north eastwards and north westwards for its entire length.
An alternative route will be via Herkomer Road, Bournehall Avenue and Homefield Road.
The Order is needed because works are proposed to be executed on or near
the Roads.
The Order has been made and shall come into force on 1 July 2020 for a period
of up to 18 months. However, the restrictions specified shall only take effect at the
times indicated by signs on or near the Roads.

GYPSY LANE AND LANGLEYBURY LANE, ABBOTS LANGLEY) ORDER 2020
NOTICE is given that Hertfordshire County Council has made the above Order
under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, to prohibit all
vehicular traffic from using the following lengths of roads (“the Roads”), except
for access and to prohibit all vehicles from waiting at any time on both sides of
these lengths of Roads whilst works are in progress:-
1. that length of Gypsy Lane, Abbots Langley from its junction with Hunton Bridge
Hill south eastwards and southwards to its junction with Fernhills, a distance of
approximately 145m.
There is no alternative route available for vehicles when the works are being
carried out. However vehicular access to properties in this road will be maintained
whenever possible throughout the duration of the works.
2. that length of Langleybury Lane, Abbots Langley from its junction with
A41 Watford Road south westwards, north westwards and south westwards for
a distance of approximately 200m.
An alternative route will be via A41 (Watford Road/Hempstead Road), A411
(Hempstead Road/Hyde Road/The Avenue), A412 (St Albans Road/Rickmansworth
Road/Watford Road), Baldwins Lane, The Green, Sarratt Road, Redhall Lane,
Fir Tree Hill and Langleybury Lane or via Langleybury Lane, Fir Tree Hill, Redhall
Lane, Sarratt Road, The Green, Baldwins Lane, A412 (Watford Road/Rickmansworth
Road/St Albans Road), A411 Hempstead Road and A41 (Hempstead Road/
Watford Road).
The Order is needed because works are proposed to be executed on or near the Roads.
The Order has been made and shall come into force on 29 June 2020 for a period
of up to 18 months. However, the restrictions specified shall only take effect at the
times indicated by signs on or near the Roads.

(TEMPORARY CLOSING AND TEMPORARY WAITING RESTRICTIONS IN
CHESTNUT WALK, WATFORD) ORDER 2020
NOTICE is given that Hertfordshire County Council has made the above Order
under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, to prohibit all
vehicular traffic from using that length of Chestnut Walk, Watford from its junction
with The Harebreaks north eastwards, south eastwards and north eastwards to its
junction with Woodside (“the Road”), a distance of approximately 267m, except
for access.
An alternative route will be via The Harebreaks and Woodside.
ADDITIONALLY all vehicles are prohibited from waiting at any time on both sides
of this length of the Road whilst works are in progress.
The Order is needed because works are proposed to be executed on or near the Road.
The Order has been made and shall come into force on 1 July 2020 for a period
of up to 18 months. However, the restrictions specified shall only take effect at the
times indicated by signs on or near the Road.

(TEMPORARY CLOSING OF LOVE LANE AND THE SERVICE ROAD FRONTING
NOS.2-8 TIBBS HILL ROAD, ABBOTS LANGLEY) ORDER 2020
NOTICE is given that Hertfordshire County Council has made the above Order under
Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, to prohibit all vehicular
traffic from using the following lengths of roads (“the Roads”), except for access:-
1. that length of Love Lane, Abbots Langley from its junction with Bedmond Road
north eastwards for a distance of approximately 65m.
There is no alternative route available for vehicles when the works are being
carried out. However vehicular access to properties in this road will be maintained
whenever possible throughout the duration of the works.
2. the service road fronting Nos.2-8 Tibbs Hill Road, Abbots Langley from its
junction with Love Lane south eastwards for a distance of approximately 20m.
There is no alternative route available for vehicles when the works are being
carried out. However vehicular access to properties in this road will be maintained
whenever possible throughout the duration of the works.
The Order is needed because utility service works are proposed to be executed
on or near the Roads.
The Order has been made and shall come into force on 29 June 2020 for a period
of up to 18 months. However, the restrictions specified shall only take effect at the
times indicated by signs on or near the Roads.
