THE M62 MOTORWAY (JUNCTION 8 SLIP ROADS)
(TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF TRAFFIC) ORDER 2020
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that Highways England Company Limited (Company No. 09346363) intends to make an Order on the M62 Motorway, in the Borough of Warrington, in the County of Cheshire, to enable resurfacing works, replacement of signs, and other general maintenance; to be carried out in safety.
The Order will ban all traffic from the following sections of the M62 Motorway:
i. the eastbound exit slip road at J8;

ii. the westbound entry slip road at J8. The prohibitions are expected to take place overnight between 22:00 and 05:00 (07:00 on Saturday and Sunday mornings) during a period starting on Saturday 1 August 2020 and ending on Monday 21 December 2020. However, works may start and continue between the same times on subsequent nights until completed.

Diversion routes via alternative junctions of the M62 Motorway will be well signed. The prohibitions will not apply to emergency services, works, winter maintenance or traffic officer vehicles, and will only apply during such times and to such extent as shall be indicated by traffic signs.
