M25 AND M11 MOTORWAYS TEMPORARYTRAFFIC RESTRICTIONS
Notice is hereby given that Highways England Company Limited intends to make an Order on the M25 and M11 Motorways in the County of Essex, under Section 14(1)(a) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 because works are proposed to be executed on the road. The effect of the Order would be to authorise the overnight closureof:-
a) (phased sections of) the southbound carriageway of the M11 between Junction 6(M25 Junction 27) and its divergence into east- and west-bound links to the A406 (Junction 4);

b) all of the slip and/or link roads:-

i) connecting both carriageways of the M25 to the London-bound carriageway

of the M11 at M25 Junction 27 (M11
Junction 6);
ii) leading to the southbound carriageway

of the M11 at Junction 5(A1168);and
iii) connecting the London-bound carriageway of the M11 to both carriageways of the A406 at Junction 4(A406).

These measures would be in the interests of road safety while contractors undertake resurfacing, road-marking, loop replacement and all associated work, structures waterproofing and joint repair and all associated work. The work is part of apackage on the entireM25 area in sections. It is expected that it would last for approximately 17 months starting on or after Monday 13th July 2020. Further timing details would be available from advanced road signage and the Highways England website. The overnight closures would take place between the following hours: Mondays-Thursdays 2200-0530 Fridays 2300 -0600

Saturdays 2200-0600

Sundays 2230 -0530

The Order would come into force on
11 July 2020 and have amaximum duration of
eighteen months, ceasing when the works are
complete.
Traffic affected by the road closures would be diverted using other junctions on the M25,
and by using the A104, A121, and A406. The
diversion in operation would vary according to the closureinforce.
The temporary closures and diversion routes would be clearly indicated by traffic signs when they areinoperation during the works period.
