Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984
Notice is hereby given that the Wiltshire Council has made an Order to close temporarily to all traffic: C85 (Part), Oaksey; from its junction with Footpath 6, Oaksey to it junction with Footpath 4, Oaksey to enable BB Rail to install 19M of Green powder coated strong guard palisade fencing on all four approaches. Alternative route: via C85 (unaffected length) - A429 -Out of County and vice versa. The closure and diversion route will be clearly indicated by traffic signs. This Order will come into operation on 29 June 2020 and the closure will be required between the hours of 09:30 and 15:30 until 10 July 2020. It is anticipated that the works will take the stated duration to complete depending upon weather conditions. Access will be maintained for residents and businesses where possible, although delays are likely due to the nature of the works. The Order will have a maximum duration of 18 months. Notice is hereby given that the Wiltshire Council intends to make Orders to close temporarily to all users: A) Footpath 57 (Part), Purton; from its junction with New Road to its junction with Footpath 48, Purton to enable Network Rail to carry out drainage works on the railway.
