ROAD TRAFFIC REGULATION ACT 1984 - SECTION 14(1)
THE WALTHAM FOREST (TEMPORARY RESTRICTIONS) (CANN HALL ROAD) ORDER 2020 (TT15(20»
1. The Council of the London Borough of Waltham Forest HEREBY GIVES NOTICE that on 25* June 2020 it made an Order because of a likelihood of danger to the public.
2. The general effect of the Order will be, only at such times and to such extent as regulatory signs are displayed or, where applicable, covered:
(a) to suspend the Zone 'CHE' Permit holders parking spaces and restrict vehicles from waiting for any purpose 'at any time' in the lengths of road specified in Schedule 1 to this notice;
(b) to restrict vehicles from stopping, waiting or loading for any purpose 'at any time' ('school keep clear' restrictions) in the lengths of road specified in Schedule 2 to this notice; and
(c) to restrict vehicles from waiting for any purpose 'at any time' in Cann Hall Road E11, the south-east side, between a point 4 metres south-west of the common boundary of Nos. 139 and 141 Cann Hall Road and a point 2.9 metres north-east of that common boundary (on the carriageway in front of an existing disabled persons parking place located on the footway).
3. Vehicles waiting, loading, stopping or parking in disregard of this Order would be removed.
4. The Order will come into operation on 25"' June 2020 and will be valid for 18 months, or until the Council deem that the temporary Order is no longer required, whichever is the sooner.
5. The bans would only apply at such times and to such extent as shall be indicated by the placing and covering of the appropriate traffic signs. They are necessary as a result of an increase in pedestrian and cyclist traffic and movement on the roads affected. This is as a result of the Council's response to the Public Health restrictions on movement, exercise and social distancing in connection to the Covid 19 pandemic.
6. In so far as any provision imposed by the Order conflicts or is inconsistent with any provision of any Order made under the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, as amended, in the London Borough of Waltham Forest the provisions of the intended Order shall prevail only at such times and to such extent as regulatory signs are displayed in relation to the measures set out in this Order.

Schedule 1 - lengths of road where Zone 'CHE' Permit holders parking spaces are suspended and waiting for any purpose 'at any time' restrictions would apply
Cann Hall Road E11, the south-east side: (i) between a point 3.1 metres south-west of the common boundary of Nos. 79 and 81 Cann Hall Road and a point 5.5 metres south-west of that common boundary; (ii) between the common boundary of Nos. 147 and 149 Cann Hall Road and a point 6.4 metres north-east of that common boundary; (iii) between a point 3.1 metres north-east of the common boundary of Nos. 297 and 299 Cann Hall Road and a point 4.85 metres north-east of that common boundary; and (iv) between a point 4.5 metres south-west of the north-eastern boundary of No. 313 Cann Hall Road and a point 6.25 metres south-west of that boundary.
Schedule 2 - lengths of road where no waiting, loading and stopping tor any purpose 'at any time' restrictions would apply ('school keep clear' restrictions)
Cann Hall Road E11, the north-west side: (i) between a point 18.6 metres south-west of a point opposite the common boundary of Nos. 79 and 81 Cann Hall Road and a point 7 metres north-east of a point opposite that common boundary; (ii) between a point 25 metres south-west of a point opposite the common boundary of Nos. 265 and 267 Cann Hall Road and a point 18.6 metres north-east of a point opposite that common boundary; and (iii) between a point 25 metres south-west of a point opposite the common boundary of Nos. 293 and 295 Cann Hall Road and a point 18.6 metres north-east of a point opposite that common boundary.
