Notice of Temporary Traffic Order
Kennington, Westbound A423 slip road
Prohibition of Through Traffic
Date of Order: 22 June 2020 Coming into force: 20 July 2020 This Order is being introduced because of railway bridge safeguarding works which are anticipated to be completed on 30 October 2020. The effect of the Order is to temporarily prohibit any vehicle proceeding in the westbound exit slip road from the A423 between Abingdon Road and Hinksey roundabouts. Appropriate traffic signs will be displayed to indicate when the measures are in force. Exemptions are included for emergency services and for the works.
The alternative route for traffic is via A423 Southern Bypass -A34 Hinksey Interchange - A423 Southern Bypass - Old Abingdon Road - Kennington Road. This Order will remain in force for a maximum period of 18 months or until the works have been completed whichever is the sooner (Ref. T7847/RAG)
Notice of Temporary Traffic Order
Waterstock, A418 Thame Road Prohibition of Through Traffic and Waiting Date of Order: 6 July 2020 Coming into force: 13 July 2020 This Order is being introduced because of carriageway resurfacing works which is anticipated to be completed on 19 July 2020. The effect of the Order is to temporarily prohibit any vehicle proceeding or waiting in the section of the A418 Thame Road between the M40 Junction 8A roundabout and Oxford Road lay-by. Appropriate traffic signs will be displayed to indicate when the measures are in force. Exemptions are included for emergency services and for the works and for access to premises which are only accessible from the closed section of road. The alternative route for traffic is via Milton Common, Stadhampton, Thame, Wheatley and vice versa. This Order will remain in force for a maximum period of 18 months or until the works have been completed whichever is the sooner (Ref. T7832/RAG)

Notice of Temporary Traffic Order
Watlington, Couching Street Prohibition of Through Traffic and Waiting Date of Order: 6 July 2020 Coming into force: 18 July 2020 This Order is being introduced because of resurfacing which is anticipated to be completed on 27 July 2020. The effect of the Order is to temporarily prohibit any vehicle using the whole length of Couching Street.
Appropriate traffic signs will be displayed to indicate when the measures are in force. Exemptions are included for emergency services and for the works and for access to premises which are only accessible from the closed section of road. The alternative route for traffic is via Hill Road-Spring Lane - Brook Street - Gorwell - High Street. Alternatively via B480 -A329 Milton Road - A329 Stadhampton Road - Church Hill - A329 Thame Road - A40 London Road - B4009 Watlington Road and vice versa. The relevant parts of the Oxfordshire County Council (Various Roads, Watlington) (Traffic Regulation) Order 1985 and 2006 (one-way street) will be temporarily suspended. This Order will remain in force for a maximum period of 18 months or until the works have been completed whichever is the sooner. (Ref. T7715/RAG)_
Notice of Temporary Traffic Order
Didcot Footpath Closure Claimed Route P Date of Order: 16 December 2019 Came into force: 1 January 2020 This Order was being introduced because of construction of a new residential site which is anticipated to be completed in December 2020. The effect of the Order is to close temporarily the Claimed Route P Footpath running east from Footpath No.3 towards proposed Footpath No.34 (north of Dunnock End). Exemptions are included for emergency services and for the works and for pedestrian access to premises which are only accessible from the closed section of footpath. Appropriate signs will be displayed to indicate when the measures are in force. There is no official diversion route. This Order, with the consent of the Secretary of State for Transport will remain in force until 31 December 2020 or until the works have been completed whichever is the sooner. (Ref.
