(BLYTH AVENUE SOUTHEND-ON-SEA) (TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF TRAFFIC)

ORDER 2020 ROAD TRAFFIC REGULATION ACT 1984 -SECTION 14(1) Notice is hereby given that the Southend-on-Sea Borough Council intends, not less than seven days from the date of this notice, to make the above Order under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984.

that the Southend-on-Sea Borough Council intends, not less than seven days from the date of this notice, to make the above Order under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984.

The Effect of the order will be to prohibit any vehicle from entering & exiting Blyth Avenue at its junction with Delaware Road.

The Order will come into effect on 6th July 2020 and may continue in force for 18 months or until the works have been completed, whichever is the earlier The alternative route will be via Delaware Road, Maplin Way, Caulfield Road and vice versa.

The closure is required for the safety of the public and workforce

whilst gas main replacement works take place

Access for emergency vehicles, residents and pedestrians will be

maintained at all times during the closure.

The prohibitions or restrictions will apply only during such

time and to such extent as indicated by traffic signs prescribed

by the TRAFFIC SIGNS REGULATIONS AND GENERAL
