Notice is hereby given that the Wiltshire Council has made an Order to close temporarily to all traffic:
Hill Corner Road (Part), Chippenham; from its junction with Heathfield to its junction with Hickory
Way to enable Conlon to carry out S278 works. Alternative route: via Hill Corner Road (unaffected
length) – B4158 – A420 - B4069 and vice versa. The closure and diversion route will be clearly
indicated by traffic signs. This Order which previously came into operation on 20 April 2020 will
now recommence on 28 June 2020 and the closure will be required for 04 weeks. It is anticipated that
the works will take the stated duration to complete depending upon weather conditions. Access will
be maintained for residents and businesses where possible, although delays are likely due to the nature

traffic: Jacksoms Lane, Langley Burrell Without; from its junction with A350 Malmesbury Road
to its junction with B4069 Swindon Road to enable Gigaclear Limited to carry out excavation works to
be carried out to lay cable build chamber and cabinets. Alternative route: via B4069 Swindon Road –
Lower Common – Church Road – Middle Common – Plough Lane – A350 Malmesbury Road and
vice versa. The closure and diversion route will be clearly indicated by traffic signs. This
Order will come into operation on 18 July 2020 and the closure will be required until 08 August 2020.
It is anticipated that the works will take the stated duration to complete depending upon weather
conditions. Access will be maintained for residents and businesses where possible, although delays
are likely due to the nature of the works. The Order will have a maximum duration of 18 months.

its junction with A3102 to enable Ringway to carry out verge overrun works to stabilise edge of
carriageway. Alternative route: via A3102 – A4 – Chilvester Hill – Ratford Hill – Dumb Post Hill – C112
and vice versa. This Order will come into operation on 13 July 2020 and the closure will be required

D) B4696 (Part), Purton; from its property known as Bridge Farm for a distance of approximately
500 metres in southerly direction to enable BB Rail to carry out installation of new gates. Alternative
route: via B4696 (unaffected length) – B4042 – A429 – B4040 and vice versa. This Order will come
into operation on 22 June 2020 and the closure will be required between the hours of 09:30 and 15:30

will come into operation on 24 June 2020 and the closure will be required between the hours of

on 22 June 2020 and the closure will be required between the hours of 00:00 and 23:59 until

G) Phase 1 A360 Southbroom Road (Part), Devizes; from its junction with A360 Potterne Road
to its junction with A342 Nursteed Road; H) A342 Nursteed Road (Part), Devizes; from its junction
with A360 Southbroom Road to its junction with Windsor Drive. I) Phase 2 A361 Estcourt Street
(Part), Devizes; from its junction with A361 Gains Lane to its junction with Estcourt Crescent to
enable Tarmac to carry out carriageway resurfacing, ironwork adjustment/renewal and road marking.
Alternative route for Phase 1: via Windsor Drive – A361 – A360 (unaffected length) and vice versa.
Alternative route for Phase 2: via A361 (unaffected length) – Windsor Drive – A342 and vice versa.
This Order will come into operation on 23 June 2020 the closures will be required week nights between
the hours of 19.00 and 06.00 until 09 July 2020. Phase 1 will also be a 24hour closure required from
