Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984
(C2086 Copcut Lane, Salwarpe)(Temporary Closure) Order 2020
Order Made: to close that part of Copcut Lane from its junction with C2086 Ladywood Road to its junction with A38 Worcester Road.
Reason: Lay NewDucting by Grub Construction Ltd.
Exemptions: to permit access to any land or premises fronting the highway affected where there is no other form of access; and to allow the works to be undertaken.
Diversion Route: – A38 Worcester Road, A38 Roman Way, C2254 Ombersley Way, U41202 New ChawsonLane, U41201 Copcut Lane and vice versa.
Maximum duration: 18 Months. Anticipated duration: 7 days.
Commencing: 23 June 2020


(Salters Lane, Besford)(Temporary Closure) Order 2020
Order Made: to close that part of Salters Lane from its junction with C2100 Ladywood Road to its junction with C2056 Rebecca Road.
Reason: Carriageway Patching Works by WCC.
Exemptions: to permit access to any land or premises fronting the highway affected where there is no other form of access; and to allow the works to be undertaken.
Diversion Route: – C2056 Rebecca Road, C2100 Ladywood Road and vice versa.
Maximum duration: 18 Months. Anticipated duration: 15 days.
Commencing: 22 June 2020


(Link Footpath F50201 Tamar Close, Worcester) (Temporary Closure) Order 2020
Proposed Order: to close that part of Link Footpath F50201 Tamar Close from its junction with U52024 Tamar Close to its junction with Link Footpath F50200 Calder Road.
Reason: Footway Reconstruction by WCC.
Exemptions: to permit access to any land or premises fronting the highway affected where there is no other form of access; and to allow the works to be undertaken.
Alternative route: F50200 Calder Road, U52020 Calder Road, U52023 Medway Road, U52024 Tamar Close and vice versa.
Maximum duration: 6 Months. Anticipated duration: 15 days.
Commencing: 13 July 2020


(Civil Enforcement Area) (Waiting Restrictions and Street Parking Places) Consolidation Order 2011 (Variation) Order 2020 [Prohibition of Waiting and Restriction of Waiting on Aconbury Close, Worcester]
Worcestershire County Council are to consider making an Order the effect of which will be to prohibit waiting at any time on the following lengths and sides of roads in Worcester:
Aconbury Close (both sides) from a point 7.5 metres north of the junction with Newtown Road for a distance of 8 metres in a northerly direction; (west side) from a point 52 metres north of the junction with Newtown Road for a distance of 9 metres in a northerly then westerly direction; from a point 66 metres north of the junction with Newtown Road for a distance of 9 metres in a southerly then westerly direction; from a point 80 metres north of the junction with Newtown Road for a distance of 6 metres in a northerly direction; from a point 93 metres north-east of the junction with Newtown Road for a distance of 9 metres in a westerly then northerly direction.
Restrict waiting Mon-Fri 10am-4pm:- Aconbury Close (west side) from a point 15.5 metres north of the junction with Newtown Road for a distance of 36.5 metres in a northerly direction; from a point 66 metres north of the junction with Newtown Road for a distance of 14 metres in a generally northerly direction; from a point 108 metres northeast of the junction with Newtown Road for a distance of 20 metres in an easterly then northerly direction;(east side) from a point 62 metres north of the junction with Newtown Road for a distance of 66 metres in a northerly then easterly then southerly direction.
The Order will vary the above Consolidation Order (which provides for civil enforcement of contraventions of waiting prohibitions and restrictions) and will contain exemptions to allow parking/access for certain purposes and limited waiting by disabled persons’ vehicles.
