CITY OF SOUTHAMPTON (Dorset Street) (Road Closure) (012-01)
TEMPORARY TRAFFIC REGULATION ORDER 2020
Southampton City Council HEREBY GIVES NOTICE THAT, in accordance with Section 14(1 )(a) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, as amended, the Council intends, in not less than seven days from the date of this Notice, to make the above Order.
1. The effect of the Order will be to close Dorset Street from The Avenue to Onslow Road Inbound only.

2. The Order is required to allow carriageway resurfacing.

3. The alternative route will be The Avenue, Archers Road, Hill Lane, Commercial Road, Cumberland Place and Brunswick Place.

4. The Order comes into force on 24th June 2020 from 20:00 to 06:00 for up to 18 months or until such sooner time as the works are completed. However, it is anticipated that the works shall be completed by 26th June 2020.
