Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984

Notice is hereby given that Wiltshire Council intends to make Orders to close temporarily to all traffic: A) Forest Lane, Lacock and Mleksham Without; from its junction with Bowden Hill to its junction with Lower Woodrow; B) Lower Woodrow (Part), Melksham Without; from its junction with Forest Lane to its junction with Bridleway 55, Melksham Without to enable A-Plant on the behalf of BT to carry out cabling to restore customer service. Alternative route: via Lower Woodrow (unaffected length) - New Road -A3102 - A342 - Bowden Hill and vice versa. This Order will come into operation on 06 July 2020 and the closure will be required between the hours of 09:30 and 15:30 for 10 July 2020. C) A363 St Margarts Street (Part), Bradford on Avon; from its junction with A363 Frome Road for a distance of approximately 200 metres in a northerly direction; D) A363 St Margarts Street (Part), Bradford on Avon; from its junction with A363 Frome Road to its junction with St Margarts Hill; E) A363 Frome Road (Part), Bradford on Avon; from its junction with A363 St Margarets Street for a distance of approximately 150 metres in a southerly direction; F) Station Approach (Part), Bradford on Avon; from its junction with A363 Frome Road for a distance of approximately 50 metres in a westerly direction to enable Ringway to carry out carriageway resurfacing works. Alternative route: via A363 (unaffected length) - A361 -Elizabeth Way - B3106 - B3105 and vice versa. This Order will come into operation on 07 July 2020 and the closure will be required between the hours of 18:00 and 00:00 until 10 July 2020. The closures and diversion routes will be clearly indicated by traffic signs. It is anticipated that the works will take the stated duration to complete depending upon weather conditions. Access will be maintained for residents and businesses where possible, although delays are likely due to the nature of the works.
