ROAD TRAFFIC REGULATION ACT 1984 - SECTION 14 (1)
Temporary Road Closure Princes Street, Richmond (Reference 20/081)
1. The Council of the London Borough of Richmond upon Thames HEREBY GIVES NOTICE that to facilitate ducting works, they intend to make a temporary Traffic Order, the effect of which will be to introduce a temporary prohibition of traffic in Princes Street, Richmond

2. Whilst the works take place no person may permit a vehicle to proceed, wait or stand in Princes Street, Richmond.

3. The order will come into effect on 18 June 2020. The works are anticipated to be in at all times form 18 June 2020 until 26 June 2020. The order will remain in force for a period of 18 months, to allow for unexpected events and possible remedial works.

4. The prohibitions apply only during such time and to such extent as indicated by prescribed traffic signs.

5. Nothing in the Order applies to:

(a) any vehicle being used in connection with the execution of the said works or any public service or utility vehicle;

(b) anything done with the permission or at the direction of a police officer in uniform or a civil enforcement officer; or

(c) emergency service vehicles.

6. Any vehicle waiting in contravention of any restriction imposed by the Order may be removed under the provisions of the Removal and Disposal of Vehicles Regulations 1986.

Temporary Road Closure Holly Road, Twickenham

1. The Council of the London Borough of Richmond upon Thames HEREBY GIVES NOTICE that to facilitate electrical maintenance works, they intend to make a temporary Traffic Order, the effect of which

will be to introduce a temporary prohibition of traffic in Holly Road, Twickenham.
2. Whilst the works take place no person may permit a vehicle to proceed, wait or stand in Holly Road between a point outside No. 130 Holly Road and a point outside No. 132 Holly Road.

3. An alternative route for traffic will be available via Copthall Gardens and Heath Road.

4. The order will come into effect on 22 June 2020. The works are anticipated to be in at all times form 22 June 2020 until 24 June 2020. The order will remain in force for a period of 18 months, to allow for unexpected events and possible remedial works.

5. The prohibitions apply only during such time and to such extent as indicated by prescribed traffic signs.

6. Nothing in the Order applies to:

(a) any vehicle being used in connection with the execution of the said works or any public service or utility vehicle;

(b) anything done with the permission or at the direction of a police officer in uniform or a civil enforcement officer; or

(c) emergency service vehicles.

Temporary Road Closure May Road, Twickenham

1. The Council of the London Borough of Richmond upon Thames HEREBY GIVES NOTICE that to facilitate ducting works, they intend to make a temporary Traffic Order, the effect of which will be to introduce a temporary prohibition of traffic in May Road, Twickenham.

2. Whilst the works take place no person may permit a vehicle to enter or exit May Road at its junction with Colne Road.

3. An alternative route for traffic will be available via Colne Road, Crane Road and Gould Road.

4. The order will come into effect on 24 June 2020. The works are anticipated to be in at all times form 24 June 2020 until 26 June 2020. The order will remain in force for a period of 18 months, to allow for unexpected events and possible remedial works.

5. The prohibitions apply only during such time and to such extent as indicated by prescribed traffic signs.

6. Nothing in the Order applies to:

(a) any vehicle being used in connection with the execution of the said works or any public service or utility vehicle;

(b) anything done with the permission or at the direction of a police officer in uniform or a civil enforcement officer; or

(c) emergency service vehicles.

7. Any vehicle waiting in contravention of any restriction imposed by the Order may be removed under the provisions of the Removal and Disposal of Vehicles Regulations 1986.

1. The Council of the London Borough of Richmond upon Thames HEREBY GIVES NOTICE that to facilitate a power connection, they have made a temporary Traffic Order, the effect of which will be to introduce a temporary prohibition of traffic in Pope's Avenue. Twickenham

2. Whilst the works take place no person may permit a vehicle to proceed, wait or stand in Pope's Avenue from a point outside No. 69 Pope's Avenue to a point outside No. 73 Pope's Avenue.

3. An alternative route for traffic will be available via Spencer Road, Walpole Gardens and Wellesley Road.

4. The order will come into effect on 16 June 2020. The works are anticipated to be in at all times form 16 June 2020 until 19 June 2020. The order will remain in force for a period of 18 months, to allow for unexpected events and possible remedial works.

5. The prohibitions apply only during such time and to such extent as indicated by prescribed traffic signs.

6. Nothing in the Order applies to:

(a) any vehicle being used in connection with the execution of the said works or any public service or utility vehicle;

(b) anything done with the permission or at the direction of a police officer in uniform or a civil enforcement officer; or

(c) emergency service vehicles.

Temporary Parking Suspension Church Road, Barnes

1. The Council of the London Borough of Richmond upon Thames HEREBY GIVES NOTICE that to facilitate social distancing and to protect the public due to the SARS-CoV-2 (coronavirus) pandemic, they have made a temporary Traffic Order, the effect of which will be to introduce a temporary prohibition of traffic in Church Road, Barnes

2. Whilst the works take place no person may permit a vehicle to wait or stand in Church Street, Barnes on its north side, from a point outside the common boundary of Nos 55 and 57 Church Road, north-eastwards for a distance of 15.5 metres (4 bays).

3. The order will come into effect on 12 June 2020. The order will remain in force for a period of 18 months.

4. The prohibitions apply only during such time and to such extent as indicated by prescribed traffic signs.

5. Nothing in the Order applies to:

(a) any vehicle being used in connection with the execution of works by any public service or utility vehicle;

(b) anything done with the permission or at the direction of a police officer in uniform or a civil enforcement officer; or

(c) emergency service vehicles.

6. Any vehicle waiting in contravention of any restriction imposed by the Order may be removed under the provisions of the Removal and Disposal of Vehicles Regulations 1986.

Temporary Road Closure and Parking Suspension Penrhyn Crescent, East Sheen

1. The Council of the London Borough of Richmond upon Thames, with the agreement of Transport for London, HEREBY GIVES NOTICE that to facilitate ducting works, they intend to make a temporary Traffic Order, the effect of which will be to introduce a temporary prohibition of traffic in Penrhyn Crescent, East Sheen.

2. Whilst the works take place no person may permit a vehicle to proceed, wait or stand in Penrhyn Crescent between its junctions with Upper Richmond Road West and Colston Road. The parking bays on Transport for London Network will be suspended.

3. An alternative route for traffic will be available via Upper Richmond Road West.

4. The order will come into effect on 22 June 2020. The works are anticipated to be in at all times form 22 June 2020 until 25 June 2020. The order will remain in force for a period of 18 months, to allow for unexpected events and possible remedial works.

5. The prohibitions apply only during such time and to such extent as indicated by prescribed traffic signs.

6. Nothing in the Order applies to:

(a) any vehicle being used in connection with the execution of the said works or any public service or utility vehicle;

(b) anything done with the permission or at the direction of a police officer in uniform or a civil enforcement officer; or

(c) emergency service vehicles.

1. The Council of the London Borough of Richmond upon Thames HEREBY GIVES NOTICE that to facilitate electrical works, they intend to make a temporary Traffic Order, the effect of which will be to introduce a temporary prohibition of traffic in Shrewsbury Avenue, East Sheen.

2. Whilst the works take place, no person shall cause or permit any vehicle to wait or stand in Shrewsbury Avenue from a point outside No. 20 Shrewsbury Avenue to a point outside No. 32 Shrewsbury Avenue,

3. The order will come into effect on 23 June 2020. The restrictions will be in force at all times from 23 June 2020 until 26 June 2020 and whilst signs/cones are in place. The order will remain in force for a period of 18 months, to allow for unexpected events and possible remedial works.

4. The prohibitions apply only during such time and to such extent as indicated by prescribed traffic signs.

5. Nothing in the Order applies to:

(a) any vehicle being used in connection with the execution of the said works or any public service or utility vehicle;

(b) anything done with the permission or at the direction of a police officer in uniform or a civil enforcement officer; or

(c) any vehicle being used for police, fire brigade or ambulance purposes.

6. Any vehicle waiting in contravention of any restriction imposed by the Order may be removed under the provisions of the Removal and Disposal of Vehicles Regulations 1986.

1. The Council of the London Borough of Richmond upon Thames HEREBY GIVES NOTICE that to facilitate electrical works, they have made a temporary Traffic Order, the effect of which will be to introduce a temporary prohibition of traffic in Williams Lane, Mortlake

2. Whilst the works take place no person may permit a vehicle to proceed, wait or stand in Williams Lane, from a point outside No. 26 Williams Lane, southwards for a distance of 25 metres.

3. An alternative route for traffic will be available via Thames Bank, Ship Lane and Lower Richmond Road.

4. The order will come into effect on 12 June 2020. The works are anticipated to be in at all times form 12 June 2020 until 26 June 2020. The order will remain in force for a period of 18 months, to allow for unexpected events and possible remedial works.

5. The prohibitions apply only during such time and to such extent as indicated by prescribed traffic signs.

6. Nothing in the Order applies to:

(a) any vehicle being used in connection with the execution of the said works or any public service or utility vehicle;

(b) anything done with the permission or at the direction of a police officer in uniform or a civil enforcement officer; or

(c) emergency service vehicles.
