(MOWLAM DRIVE. STANLEY) (TEMPORARY ROAD CLOSURE) ORDER 2020

The Council proposes to make an Order under the Road Traffic Regulation Act, 1984 as amended, Section 14 (1) to prohibit all vehicular traffic from proceeding on approx 160m of Mowlam Dr, Stanley from no. 35 easterly to the junc with Strathlene Dr to enable manhole covers and frames replacement works to be undertaken. Throughout the period of closure, no alt route will be available for vehicular traffic. The maximum duration of the Order is 18 months. The proposed works are to commence at 9am on 29/6/2020 and are anticipated to be completed in 2 days (daily between 9am - 4pm). On occasions, alternative dates for closure may be necessary and these will be signed accordingly.

(CHURCH LANE. FERRYHILL) (TEMPORARY ROAD CLOSURE) ORDER 2020

The Council on 30/5/2020 made the above Order under the Road Traffic Regulation Act, 1984 as amended, Section 14 (1) to prohibit all vehicular traffic from proceeding on approx 25m of Church Ln that extends westwards from its junction with Broom Rd, Ferryhill to enable burst water main repair works to be undertaken. The alt route for vehicular traffic is from the eastern side of the closure from Broom Rd westerly via Chestnut Ave, north on Lime Rd to Church Ln to the western side of the closure, and vice versa. The maximum duration of the Order is 18 months. The works are expected to commence on 30/5/2020 and are anticipated to be completed in 7 days. On occasions, alternative dates for closure may be necessary and these will be signed accordingly.
