Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984
Notice is hereby given that the Wiltshire Council has made Orders to close temporarily to all traffic: A) Newton Lane (Part), Whiteparish; from its junction with Hop Gardens for a distance of approximately 190 metres in a southerly direction to enable HSC on behalf of BT to carry out decaying telegraph poles. Alternative route: via Newton Lane (unaffected length)
- A36 - A27 Brickworth Road and vice versa. This Order will come into operation on 17 June and the closure will be required between the hours of 09:30 and 15:30 for one day. B) Fowlswick Lane (Part), Chippenham Without and Kington St Michael; from its junction with B4039 to its junction with Footpath 31, Kington St Michael to enable Gigaclear to carry out the laying of cables, building of cabinets and chambers. Alternative route: via Fowlswick Lane (unaffected length)

Order will come into operation on 15 June 2020 and the closure will be required until 05 July 2020. C) A30 Silver Street (Part), Wilton;from its junction with Kingsbury Square to its junction with South Street to enable SGN to carry out an urgent gas main replacement. Alternative route: via A30 (unaffected length) - A36 - A303 -A30 (unaffected length) and vice versa. Alternative route HGV Southbound (B): via A30 (unaffected length) - A350 - A303 - A360 - A36 - A30 (unaffected length). Alternative route HGV Northbound (C): via A30 (unaffected length)
- The Avenue - A360 - A303 - A350 - A30 (unaffected length). This Order
will come into operation on 15 June 2020 and the closure will be required until 10 July 2020. For further information please contact SGN on 0800 9121700. Orders (a) to (c) will have a maximum duration of 18 months. The closures and diversion routes will be clearly indicated by traffic signs. It is anticipated that the works will take the stated duration to complete depending upon weather conditions. Access will be maintained for residents and businesses where possible, although delays are likely due to the nature of the works.
