BAULKING COMMON
Jessica, Oliver and Joe Reid have applied to the Secretary of State for Environment, Food and Rural Affairs for consent under section 38 of the Commons Act 2006 to carry out restricted works on Baulking Common. The Planning Inspectorate will decide the application on behalf of the Secretary of State.
The proposed works are: To build an access track to a planning approved plot consisting of a geotextile membrane base with a Type 1 greystone finish that will be permanent once completed. The track will be 66m in length and 3.7m in width and will cover a total area of 244.2 square meters.
The track will be located on Baulking Common between the tracks serving Middle Green Farm and the track leading to James and Painters Cottages. It will lead from Baulking Lane highway to the site of 2 proposed new cottages.
Due to Government advice in respect of Coronavirus (COVID-19), a copy of the application will not be left in a public area for viewing. However, a copy of the application form and accompanying documents may be obtained by emailing
