THE BOROUGH OF WATFORD (WATFORD)
(CONTROLLED PARKING ZONES) (CONSOLIDATION)
ORDER 2018 (AMENDMENT) (NO.7) ORDER 2020
THE BOROUGH OF WATFORD (CASSIOBURY PARK
AVENUE, THE CHASE AND SWISS AVENUE, WATFORD)
(RESTRICTION OF WAITING)
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that Watford Borough Council,
acting as agent for Hertfordshire County Council, has
made the above mentioned Orders under the Road Traffic
Regulation Act 1984.
The general effect of the first Order will be to amend the
existing Traffic Regulation Orders to have the effect of
extending Controlled Parking Zone V to the section of
Parkside Drive between junctions with Richmond Drive
and Coningesby Drive.
The general effect of the third Order will be to introduce
waiting restrictions in parts of the Cassiobury Park Avenue,
Swiss Avenue and the Chase to improve safety and
accessibility for vehicles.
The Orders will come into operation on Friday 26th June
2020. Copies may be inspected on the Council’s website
at www.watford.gov.uk/askparking.

Any person wishing to question the validity of the Orders,
or of any of the provisions contained in them, on the
grounds that they are not within the powers conferred by
the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 or on the grounds that
any requirement of the Act or any instrument made under
it has not been complied with in relation to the Orders, may
within 6 weeks of the date of this Notice apply to the High
Court for this purpose.
