CITY OF SOUTHAMPTON (The Avenue) (Banned Right Turn) (002b-01)
TEMPORARY TRAFFIC REGULATION ORDER 2020
Southampton City Council HEREBY GIVES NOTICE THAT, in accordance with Section 14(1 )(a) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, as amended, the Council made the following Order on 29th May 2020.
1 The effect of the Order will be to ban the right hand turn from the Avenue to Burgess Road.

2 The Order is required for safety reasons to keep the traffic flow moving and avoid congestion.

3 The Order comes into force on 2nd June 2020 for up to 18 months or until such sooner time as the works are completed. However, it is anticipated that the works shall be completed by 26th November 2021.
