ROAD TRAFFIC REGULATION ACT 1984 - SECTION 14(1)

THE WALTHAM FOREST (KINGS ROAD E4) (20 MPH SPEED LIMIT) ORDER 2020 TT12(20)

1. The Council of the London Borough of Waltham Forest HEREBY GIVES NOTICE that on 28th May 2020 it made an Order to provide traffic restrictions in a section of Kings Road E4 in the interest of public safety.



2. The general effect of the Order will be, only at such times and to such extent as regulatory signs are displayed, to reduce the speed limit from 30 mph to 20 mph in Kings Road E4 between a point in line with the north-west kerb line of Pretoria Road and the north-west kerb line of Larkshall Road E4.



3. The speed limit mentioned above would not apply in relation to any vehicle being that falls within regulation 3(4) of the Road Traffic Exemptions (Special Forces) (Variation and Amendment) Regulations 2011 when used in accordance with regulation 3(5) of those regulations.



4. The Order will come into operation on 1st June 2020 and would be valid for a period of 18 months.
