Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984

Notice is hereby given that the Wiltshire Council intends to make an Order to close temporarily to all users: a) Footpath 39 (Part), Sedgehill and Semley; from its junction with Barkers Hill to its junction with Footpath 40, Sedgehill and Semley; b) Footpath 40 (Part), Sedgehill and Semley; from its junction with Barkers Hill to its junction with Footpath 42, Sedgehill and Semley; c) Footpath 41, Sedgehill and Semley; from its junction with Footpath 40, Sedgehill and Semly to its junction with Barkers Hill; d) Footpath 42 (Part), Sedgehill and Semley; from its junction with Barkers Hill to its junction with Footpath 43, Sedgehill and Semley; e) Footpath 43 (Part), Sedgehill and Semley; from its junction with Barkers Hill to its junction with Footpath 42, Sedgehill and Semley to enable Installation of new mains pipeline essential for infrastructure. Alternative routes: via Barkers Hill - Green Lane - Footpath 47 Sedgehill and Semley -Pigtrough Lane - Berry Wood Lane - Footpath 20 Donhead St Mary -Footpath 23 Donhead St Andrew - St Bartholomews Street and vice versa. The closure will be clearly indicated by traffic signs. This Order will come into operation on 23 June 2020 and is expected to be required for 06 months. The Order will have a maximum duration of six months. Notice is hereby given that Wiltshire Council intends to make an Order to close temporarily to all traffic: A) Grimstead Road (Part), Grimstead; from its junction with Windwhistle Lane for a distance of approximately 130 metres in a westerly direction to enable BT to carry out the replace of a decaying telegraph pole. Alternative route: via Grimstead Road (unaffected length) - Crockford Road - Chapel Hill and vice versa. This Order will come into operation on 22 June 2020 and the closure will be required for one day. Notice is hereby given that the Wiltshire Council has made an Order to close temporarily to all traffic: B) West End Lane (Part), Donhead St Andrew; from its junction with Lower Street for a distance of approximately 260 metres in a southerly direction; C) St Bartholomews Street (Part), Donhead St Andrew; from its junction with West End Lane for a distance of approximately 290 metres in a westerly direction; D) Lower Street (Part), Donhead St Andrew; from its junction with West End Lane for a distance of approximately 30 metres in a northerly direction to enable Openreach to carry out maintenance works. Alternative routes (a) and (b): via St Bartholomews Street (unaffected length) - Pigtrough Lane - C61 - Scotts Hill - Sands Lane - A30 - Overway Lane - Milkwell - West End Lane (unaffected length) and vice versa. Alternative route (c): via Lower Street (unaffected length) - Wardour Lane -Scotts Hill - Sands Lane - A30 - Overway Lane - Milkwell - West End Lane (unaffected length) and vice versa. This Order will come into operation on 01 June 2020 and the closure will be required between the hours of 09:30 and 15:30 until 02 June 2020. The closures and diversion routes will be clearly indicated by traffic signs. It is anticipated that the works will take the stated duration to complete depending upon weather conditions. Access will be maintained for residents and businesses where possible, although delays are likely due to the nature of the works.
