VARIOUS ROADS - PROPOSED REMOVAL OF DISABLED PERSONS PARKING PLACES AND PROPOSED INTRODUCTION OF DEDICATED DISABLED PARKING PLACES - T24
THE HARINGEY (FREE PARKING PLACES) (DISABLED PERSONS) (PERMIT PARKING PLACES) ORDER 202* AND VARIOUS CONTROLLED PARKING ZONE AMENDMENT ORDERS
1. NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Council of the London Borough of Haringey on 27* of May made the above mentioned Orders under sections 6, 45, 46 and 124 of and Part IV of Schedule 9 to the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, as amended.

2. The general effect of the Orders would be:

(i) to remove the following Disabled Parking Bays outside or alongside the following properties in the London Borough of Haringey;

32 Birchington Road, N8 3 Fenton Road, N17 21 Lordsmead Road, N17

40 Chalgrove Road, N17 3 Fenton Road, N17 184a Nelson Road, N8

5 Elmhurst Road, N17 214 Langham Road, N15 115 Nightingale Road, N22

105 Fairview Road, N15
(ii) to implement Dedicated Disabled Parking Bays, operating at any time, at a maximum of 6.6 metres in length, outside or alongside the following properties in the London Borough of Haringey;

40 Chalgrove Road, N17 3 Fenton Road, N17 18 Mattison Road, N4

The bays would specifically be for the use of the permit holder for which they would be authorised. No other permit or blue badge will be valid for use within the proposed parking place except for the permit for which it was issued.
(iii) to revoke the relevant underlying Controlled Parking Zone & Paid Parking Places restrictions at the locations mentioned in Section 2 of this notice.

(iv) to revoke 'The Haringey (Free Parking Places) (Disabled Persons) (Permit Parking Places) Order 2018'.

3. Copies of the Orders referred to above, which will come into force on 23rd June 2020, of plans which indicates the locations and effects of the Orders, and of a Statement of Reasons for making the Orders, may be inspected at the reception desk, Alexandra House, 10 Station Road, Wood Green, N22 7TR by appointment only or can be viewed online, within six weeks of the date on which the Orders were made, at

4. Any person desiring to question the validity of the Orders or of any provision contained therein on the grounds that it does not comply with the relevant powers of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, as amended or that any of the relevant requirements thereof or of any relevant regulations made there under have not been complied with in relation to the Orders may, within six weeks of the date on which the Orders were made, make application for the purpose to the High Court.
