NOTICE OF CONFIRMATION OF PUBLIC PATH ORDER

TOWN AND COUNTY PLANNING ACT 1990 S.257

THE WEST DORSET DISTRICT COUNCIL

PUBLIC FOOTPATH NO.1 (PART)

PARISH OF CHICKERELL

PUBLIC PATH DIVERSION ORDER 2013

On 10th November 2014 West Dorset District Council confirmed the above order. The effect of the Order as confirmed is to divert the public footpath running from point A, grid reference 364119E 080865N, in a north-north-westerly direction for 62 metres to point B, grid reference 364105E 080927N, a point at the junction of footpath no.1 with footpath no.4 to a line running from point A, grid reference 364119E 080865N in a north-westerly direction for 11 metres to point C, grid reference 364113E 080876N, then continuing in a north-north-westerly direction for 14 metres to point D, grid reference 364110E 080890N, then continuing in a westerly direction for 1.5 metres to point E, grid reference 364109E 080890N, then continuing in a north-north-westerly direction for 28 metres to point F, grid reference 364104E 080919N, then continuing in a north-north-easterly direction for 8 metres to point B, grid reference 364105E 080927N, a point on public footpath no 4, as shown on the order map.

A copy of the Order as confirmed and the Order map may be seen free of charge at the Council's offices at South Walks House, South Walks Road, Dorchester, DT1 1UZ between 9.00 am and 4.30pm on weekdays. Copies of the Order and map may be purchased.

This order came into force on 10th November 2014, but if any person aggrieved by the Order wants to question its validity, or that of any provision contained in it, on the ground that it is not within the powers of the Town and Country Planning Act 1990, or on the ground that any requirement of that Act or any regulation made under it has not been complied with in relation to the confirmation of the Order, he or she may apply to the High Court for any of these purposes under s.287 of the Town and Country Planning Act 1990 within 6 weeks from the date on which notice is first published as required by paragraph 7 of Schedule
14 to the Act.
