Essex County Council has received additional information in relation to a planning application made by Veolia ES Landfill Ltd for Continuation of installation of waste pre-treatment facilities and recontouring of the landfill to facilitate restoration permitted by ESS/35/06/BAS without compliance with condition 4 (completion timescales), to allow waste to be deposited on site until 31 December 2025 and the site restored to nature conservation by 31 December 2027 and without compliance with condition 3 (waste geographical sources) to allow importation of waste from outside Essex and Southend and also without the development of the previously permitted waste pre-treatment facility at Pitsea Landfill, Pitsea Hall Lane, Pitsea, Basildon, SS16 4UH – ESS/49/14/BAS

(Cherry Orchard Way, Cherry Orchard Lane & Cherry Orchard Jubilee Country Park Access Road (south), Rochford) (Prohibition of Right Hand Turn) Order 20**
Notice is hereby given that the Essex County Council proposes to make the above Order under Sections 1(1) and (2), and 2(1) to (3) and Part III of Schedule 9 to the
Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984.
Effect of the order: To prohibit vehicles from making a right hand turn on the following lengths of road in the District of Rochford: Cherry Orchard Way
Northbound carriageway of Cherry Orchard Way, No Right Turn into Cherry Orchard Lane. Southbound carriageway of Cherry Orchard Way, No Right Turn into Cherry Orchard Jubilee Country Park access road (south). Cherry Orchard Lane No Right Turn out of Cherry Orchard Lane into Cherry Orchard Way northbound carriageway. Cherry Orchard Jubilee Country Park Access Road (south) No Right Turn out of Cherry Orchard Jubilee Park access road (south) onto Cherry Orchard Way southbound carriageway.

(Temporary Prohibition of Traffic) Order 2020
Notice is hereby given that the Essex County Council intends, not less than seven days from the date of this notice, to make the above Order under Section 14(1) of the
Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984.
Effect of the order: To temporarily close that length of Hornsland Road, Canvey Island in the Borough of Castle Point, from its junction with Holbek Road to its junction with Smallgains Avenue, a distance of approximately 310m. The closure is scheduled to commence on 12/06/2020 for 60 days, or where stated on a valid permit
(AZ0071000916502 – Cadent). The scheduled dates may vary for these works with appropriate signs showing and/ or displayed on one.network. The closure is required for
the safety of the public and workforce while mains replacement works are undertaken by Cadent.
An alternative route is available via Holbek Road, Westman Road, Smallgains Avenue and vice versa.
The Order will come into effect on 28/05/2020 and may continue in force for 18 months or until the works have been completed, whichever is the earlier.
(A13 Pitsea Bypass, Pitsea)
(Temporary Prohibition of Traffic) Order 2020
Notice is hereby given that the Essex County Council intends, not less than seven days from the date of this notice, to make the above Order under Section 14(1) of the
Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984.
Effect of the order:
1. To temporarily close that length of A13 Pitsea Bypass, Pitsea in the District of Basildon, from the junction with the offslip road for Broadway Link roundabout
to the junction with Five Bells Roundabout, a distance of approximately 3020m.
2. To temporarily close the onslip road from Five Bells Roundabout onto the A13 Pitsea bypass, a distance of approximately 410m.
3. To temporarily close the onslip road from Broadway Link Roundabout to the A13 Pitsea Bypass, a distance of approximately 240m.
The closures are scheduled to commence on 29/05/2020 for 1 night (21:00-05:00), or where stated on a valid permit (EP20153052893 – Essex County Council). The scheduled
dates may vary for these works with appropriate signs showing and/or displayed on one.network. The closures are required for the safety of the public and workforce
while verge maintenance works are undertaken by Essex County Council.
An alternative route is available via Pitsea Bypass, Broadway Link Roundabout, South Mayne, Broadmayne Roundabout, Broadmayne, Mopsies Roundabout, Timberlog Lane, Roundacre, Roundacre New Roundabout, Nether Mayne, Fobbing Farm Roundabout, Five Bells Roundabout North, Five Bells Link Road, Five Bells Roundabout South and vice versa.
The Order came into effect on 14/05/2020 and may continue in force for 18 months or until the works have been completed, whichever is the earlier.
(Abbey Road, Hullbridge)
(Temporary Prohibition of Traffic) Order 2020
Notice is hereby given that the Essex County Council intends, not less than seven days from the date of this notice, to make the above Order under Section 14(1) of the
Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984.
Effect of the order: To temporarily close that length of Abbey Road, Hullbridge in the District of Rochford, from its junction with Monksford Drive for a distance of
approximately 35m in a southerly direction. The closure is scheduled to commence on 26/05/2020 for 4 days, or where stated on a valid permit (AZ0071000709301 –
Cadent). The scheduled dates may vary for these works with appropriate signs showing and/or displayed on one.network. The closure is required for the safety of the
public and workforce while remedial works are undertaken by Cadent.
An alternative route is available via Lower Road, Ferry Road, Abbey Road and vice versa.
The Order came into effect on 14/05/2020 and may continue in force for 18 months or until the works have been completed, whichever is the earlier.
(Burnt Mills Road, Basildon) (Temporary Prohibition of Traffic) Order 2020
Notice is hereby given that the Essex County Council has made the above Order under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984.
Effect of the order: To temporarily close that length of Burnt Mills Road, Basildon in the Borough of Basildon, from a point approximately 260m east of its junction with Courtauld Road for a distance of approximately 55m in a northeasterly direction. The closure is scheduled to commence on 26/05/2020 for 4 days, or where stated
on a valid permit (WY001NSA25163 – Fulcrum Pipelines Limited). The scheduled dates may vary for these works with appropriate signs showing and/or displayed on
one.network. The closure is required for the safety of the public and workforce while main connection works are undertaken by Fulcrum Pipelines Limited.
An alternative route is available via Burnt Mills Road, Rushley, Tyefields, Rectory Road, Crest Avenue, London Road,Pound Lane and vice versa.
The Order came into effect on 14/05/2020 and may continue in force for 18 months or until the works have been completed, whichever is the earlier.
(Castle Road, Rayleigh)
(Temporary Prohibition of Traffic & Temporary
Introduction of Clearway) Order 2020
Notice is hereby given that the Essex County Council has made the above Order under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984.
Effect of the order:
1. To temporarily close that length of Castle Road, Rayleigh in the District of Rochford, from a point approximately 45m south of its junction with High
Street for a distance of approximately 15m in a southeasterly direction.
2. To temporarily introduce a ‘No Waiting, No Loading and No Stopping’ in that length of Castle Road, Rayleigh in the District of Rochford, from a point
approximately 45m south of its junction with High Street for a distance of approximately 15m in a southeasterly direction.
“The Essex County Council (Rochford District) (Prohibition of Waiting, Loading and Stopping) and (On Street Parking Places) (Civil Enforcement Area) Consolidation Order 2019” will be temporarily amended to include the temporary ‘No Waiting, No Loading and No Stopping at any time’ restriction and suspend any existing parking and waiting restrictions in the above length of road only. All other restrictions and exemptions contained in the aforementioned Order and Amendments to that Order shall remain in force.
The restrictions are scheduled to commence on 0/06/2020 for 1 day, or where stated on a valid permit (AZ0071000918818 – Cadent). The scheduled dates may vary for these works with appropriate signs showing and/or displayed on one.network. The restrictions are required for the safety of the public and workforce while gas connection works are undertaken by Cadent.
An alternative route is available via Daws Heath Road, Eastwood Road, High Street and vice versa.
The Order came into effect on 14/05/2020 and may continue in force for 18 months or until the works have been completed, whichever is the earlier.
