POOLE BUS STATION SOCIAL DISTANCING MEASURES

TEMPORARY TRAFFIC REGULATION ORDER 2020

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that Bournemouth, Christchurch and Poole Council intends to make temporary traffic regulations, with the effects detailed below, to control traffic.

WHAT & WHERE: Klngland Road - temporary suspension of the Bus Lane on the northern carriageway from The George Roundabout to Seldown Lane.

WHY: To provide three bus stands on Kingland Road to support Poole Bus Station Social Distancing Measures.

WHEN: Anticipated dates: Sunday 24 May 2020 until Sunday 30 May 2021.

WHAT & WHERE: Kingland Road Rear Service Road -

suspension of all parking, disabled and loading/unloading bays along the northern side of the road (i.e, along the southern edge of the Bus Station).

WHY: To support Poole Bus Station Social Distancing Measures.

WHEN: Anticipated dates: Sunday 24 May 2020 until Sunday 30 May 2021.

ACCESS: Emergency access to be maintained.

These arrangements may be extended should the need for Social Distancing continue and the effect of this Order would apply for up to 18 months.

The Council regrets any inconvenience to the public caused by this Traffic Order.
