Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984
(Pump Street, Worcester) (Temporary Closure) (Copenhagen Street, Worcester) (Temporary Variation of One Way Traffic) (The Shambles, Worcester) (Temporary Suspension of Left Hand Turn) Order 2020
Proposed Order: to close that part of Pump Street, Copenhagen Street and The Shambles in three phases:-
Phase 1: Pump Street – from its junction with New Street to its junction with The Shambles.
Phase 2: The Shambles/Pump Street – from its junction with Pump Street to its junction with Church Street.
(a) The Order will temporarily vary The County of Hereford and Worcester (Copenhagen Street, Worcester) (One Way Traffic) Order 1990. No person shall cause or permit any vehicle to proceed in that length of Copenhagen Street, Worcester from its junction with High Street to a point 35 metres west of that junction Street in a direction other than west to east. The Order is being made to facilitate traffic to travel in an easterly direction only.
Phase 3: Pump Street – from its junction with The Shambles to its junction with High Street.
(b) The Order will temporarily suspend Worcestershire County Council (The Shambles, Worcester) (Prohibition of Left Hand Turn) Order 2007 in its entirety. The Order is being made to facilitate traffic turning left onto Pump Street, Worcester.
Reason: Town Centre Improvement Works.
Exemptions: to permit access to any land or premises fronting the highway affected where there is no other form of access; and to allow the works to be undertaken.
Diversion routes: No diversion required.
Maximum duration: 18 Months. Anticipated duration: 92 days.
Commencing: 15 June 2020.
(C2138 Dilmore Lane, North Claines) (Temporary Closure) Order 2020
Proposed Order: to close that part of C2138 Dilmore Lane from its junction with U41200 Porters Mill Lane to its junction with Kennels Lane (Private Road).
Reason: Bridgeworks Maintenance by WCC.
Exemptions: to permit access to any land or premises fronting the
highway affected where there is no other form of access; and to allow the works to be undertaken.
Alternative route: C2138 Ladywood, C2138 Hunts Green, C2138 Hadley Heath, C2086 Hadley Heath to Ladywood Road, C2139 Ladywood Road, C2139 Strand Lane, C2139 Church Lane, A38 Droitwich Road, C2138 Dilmore Lane and vice versa.
Maximum duration: 18 Months. Anticipated duration: 4 days.
Commencing: 15 June 2020.
(Leabank Drive, Worcester) (Temporary Closure) Order 2020
Proposed Order: to close that part of Leabank Drive from its junction with U50322 Hillcrest Rise to its junction with U50372 Grange Avenue.
Reason: Footway Reconstruction Works by WCC.
Exemptions: to permit access to any land or premises fronting the highway affected where there is no other form of access; and to allow the works to be undertaken.
Alternative route: U50372 Grange Avenue, U50320 Parkland Road, U50321 Willowslea, Road, U50322 Hillcrest Rise and vice versa.
Maximum duration: 18 Months. Anticipated duration: 54 days.
Commencing: 15 June 2020.
(U47606 Walkers Lane, Whittington) (Temporary Closure) Order 2020
Proposed Order: to close that part of U47606 Walkers Lane from its junction with A4440 Swinesherd Way to its junction with U47607 Church Lane.
Reason: Restore Customer Service by A-Plant.
Exemptions: to permit access to any land or premises fronting the highway affected where there is no other form of access; and to allow the works to be undertaken.
Alternative route: Eastbound Diversion – A4440 Swinesherd Way, A4440 Whittington Road and U47607 Church Lane. Westbound Diversion – U47607 Church Lane, A4440 Whittington Road, A4440 Swinesherd Way Northbound, A4440 Swinesherd Way/Nunnery Way Roundabout and A4440 Swinesherd Way Southbound.
Maximum duration: 18 Months. Anticipated duration: 1 day.
Commencing: 15 June 2020.
(C2061 Stakenbridge Lane, Churchill) (Temporary Closure) Order 2020
Order Made: to close that part of Stakenbridge Lane from its junction with Junction with C2061 Rocky Lane to its junction with Junction with A456 Kidderminster Road South.
Reason: Surface Dressing Works by WCC.
Exemptions: to permit access to any land or premises fronting the highway affected where there is no other form of access; and to allow the works to be undertaken.
Alternative route: C2061 Rocky Lane, A451 Stourbridge Road, A449 Chester Road North, A456 Birmingham Road, A456 Kidderminster Road South and vice versa.
Maximum duration: 18 Months. Anticipated duration: 9 days.
Commencing: 26 May 2020.
(Old Road North, Kempsey) (Temporary Closure) Order 2020
Order Made: to close that part of Old Road North from its junction with Brookend Lane to its junction with A38 Main Road.
Reason: Sewer Works by STW.
Exemptions: to permit access to any land or premises fronting the highway affected where there is no other form of access; and to allow the works to be undertaken.
Alternative route: Brookend Lane, A38 Main Road and vice versa.
Maximum duration: 18 Months. Anticipated duration: 3 days.
Commencing: 26 May 2020.
(U52305 Cavendish Street, Worcester) (Temporary Closure) Order 2020
Proposed Order: to close that part of U52305 Cavendish Street from its junction with U52306 Berwick Street to its junction with U52303 Orchard Street.
Reason: New/Replacement Gas Main by Cadent Gas.
Exemptions: to permit access to any land or premises fronting the highway affected where there is no other form of access; and to allow the works to be undertaken.
Alternative route: U52303 Orchard Street, U52300 Waverley Street, U52306 Berwick Street and vice versa.
Maximum duration: 18 Months. Anticipated duration: 4 days
Commencing: 15 June 2020.
(A4440 Parsonage Way, Warndon) (Temporary 30mph Speed Limit) Order) 2020
Proposed Order: to impose a temporary 30 mph speed limit on that part of A4440 Parsonage Way from its junction with B4639 Berkeley Way Roundabout to its junction with U51400 Dugdale Drive Roundabout.
Reason: Carriageway Resurfacing by Fitzgerald Contractors Ltd.
Exemptions: Special Forces vehicles.
Maximum duration: 18 Months. Anticipated duration: 72 days.
Commencing: 11 June 2020.
(Link Footpath F50149 Willowslea Road & Courtfield Close, Worcester) (Temporary Closure) Order 2020
Proposed Order: to close that part of Link Footpath F50149 Willowslea Road & Courtfield Close from its junction with U50321 Courtland Close to its junction with U50325 Willowslea Road.
Reason: Footway Reconstruction by WCC.
Exemptions: to permit access to any land or premises fronting the highway affected where there is no other form of access; and to allow the works to be undertaken.
Alternative route: U50321 Willowslea Road, U50322 Hillcrest Rise, U50324 Leabank Drive, U50325 Courtland Close and vice versa.

Order made: to close that part of C2126 Crown Lane from its junction with C2061 Rocky Lane to its junction with Staffordshire County Boundary.
Reason: Surface Dressing by WCC.
Exemptions: to permit access to any land or premises fronting the highway affected where there is no other form of access; and to allow the works to be undertaken.
Alternative route: C2061 Rocky Lane, A451 Stourbridge Road, Kidderminster Road (Staffordshire County), Crown Lane (Staffordshire County) and vice versa.
Maximum duration: 18 Months. Anticipated duration: 7 days.

Exemptions: to permit access to any land or premises fronting the highway affected where there is no other form of access; and to allow the works to be undertaken.

Order Made: to close that part of C2118 Grafton Flyford to Himbleton from its junction with C2077 Shaftland Cross to Grafton Flyford to its junction with U43205 Hill Top Road.
Reason: New Customer Connection by STW.
Exemptions: to permit access to any land or premises fronting the highway affected where there is no other form of access; and to allow the works to be undertaken.
Alternative route: C2118 Himbleton to Grafton Flyford, C2032 Harrow Lane, C2032 Shaftland Cross to Phepson, C2032 Lower Crowle Road to Shaftland Cross, C2032 Old Turnpike Road, C2078 Church Road, C2078 Broughton Hackett to Crowle, A422 Worcester Road and vice versa.

(C2220 Old Road South, Kempsey) (Temporary Closure) Order 2020
Order Made: to close that part of C2220 Old Road South from its junction with U60013 Pixham Ferry Lane to its junction with U60014 Meadow Close.
Reason: New/Replacement Gas Main by Fulcrum.
Exemptions: to permit access to any land or premises fronting the highway affected where there is no other form of access; and to allow the works to be undertaken.
Alternative route: C2220 Old Road South, C2220 Squires Walk, A38 Main Road and vice versa.
Maximum duration: 18 Months. Anticipated duration: 22 days.
Commencing: 25 May 2020.
(Abbots Morton Road, Abbots Morton) (Temporary Closure) Order 2020
Order made: to close that part of Abbots Morton Road from its junction with C2010 Alcester Road Eastbound to its junction with C2010 Alcester Road Westbound.
Reason: New/Replacement Water Main by Severn Trent.
Exemptions: to permit access to any land or premises fronting the
highway affected where there is no other form of access; and to allow the works to be undertaken.
Alternative route: C2010 Alcester Road and vice versa.
Maximum duration: 18 Months. Anticipated duration: 7 days
