Temporary Closure of Mark Road and Robins Lane TAKE NOTICE that in pursuance of Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulations Act 1984, as amended by the Road Traffic (Temporary Restrictions) Act 1991, the County Council of Somerset have made an Order PROHIBITING ALL TRAFFIC from proceeding along Mark Road and Robins Lane from Mark Road; the junction with Chilton Road, south-eastwards for 1600m and Robins Lane; the junction with Mark Road, southwards for 710m for a total distance of 2310 metres. This order will enable BT Openreach to carry out cabling works for a new connection. The Order becomes effective on 19 May 2020 and will remain in force for eighteen months. The works are expected to start on 24 May 2020 and last for 1 day (08:30-16:00).
