Notice is hereby given that the Wiltshire Council has made an Order to close temporarily to all traffic: A36S (Part) Western Way, Melksham Without and Melksham; from its junction with A350 Semington Bypass to its junction with Pathfinder Way to enable Wimpey Homes to carry out a sewer connection across the carriageway. Alternative route (A): via Pathfinder Way - Lancaster Road - Portal Road - A350 Semington Bypass and vice versa. Alternative route (B) HGV's: via A365 (unaffected length) -A361 - A350 Semington Bypass and vice versa. The closure and diversion route will be clearly Indicated by traffic signs. This Order will come into operation on 23 May 2020 and the closure will be required until 30 May 2020. It is anticipated that the works will take the stated duration to complete depending upon weather conditions. Access will be maintained for residents and businesses where possible, although delays are likely due to the nature of the works. The Order will have a maximum duration of 18 months. Notice is hereby given that the Wiltshire Council has made an Order to introduce a temporary No Waiting at Any Time restriction applying to both sides of the following length of road: Lancaster Road, Melksham Without; from its junction with Pathfinder Way to its junction with Portal Road to enable Wimpey Homes to carry out a sewer connection across the carriageway. This Order Is made to ensure public safety during the period of the Carriageway works take place. This Order will come into operation on 23 May 2020 and will be required until 30 May 2020.
