Notice of Intention

NOTICE is hereby given that Herefordshire Council, as highway authority, intend, under its relevant powers, to make the following Order: U70000, Tanhouse Road, Upton Bishop, Temporary Road Closure Order, to temporarily prohibit the use by vehicles on the U70000, Tanhouse Road, Upton Bishop, at Appledoor. Grid Ref: 365465/227015. The alternative route for those affected by the proposal is via U70000 onto C1287, B4221 and onto Probyn Road and vice versa.

The said closure is required due to new supply connection works and the likelihood of danger to the public while the works are taking place. The said closure will come into force on 10th of June 2020 and remain in force for a maximum period of 18 months (unless extended with the consent of the Secretary of State) but the works are expected to be completed within 3 days.
