DICKENSON’S LANE, CROYDON
TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF PARKING
1. Croydon Council HEREBY GIVE NOTICE that to facilitate emergency service access during building development works, they intend to make an Order the effect of which would be to temporarily prohibit parking in Dickenson’s Lane.
2. Whilst the said works are taking place parking will be prohibited at any time in Dickenson’s Lane:-
(a) On the north-east side, from a point opposite the north-western kerb-line of Dickenson’s Place south-eastwards for a distance of 19 metres;
(b) On the south-west side, from a point 5 metres north-west of the north-western kerb-line of Dickenson’s Place to a point 5 metres south-east of the south-eastern kerb-line of Dickenson’s Place.
3. The Order will come into operation on 01 June 2020 and will remain in force for 18 months.
4. These restrictions shall not apply in respect of:
(a) any vehicle being used for fire brigade, ambulance or police purposes;
(b) anything done with the permission of a police constable in uniform or a Civil Enforcement Officer.

TEMPORARY RESTRICTION OF VEHICULAR TRAFFIC
1.Croydon Council HEREBY GIVES NOTICE that to facilitate safer access for residents to their streets, enabling them to exercise and maintain social distancing during the current Covid-19 pandemic, they intend to make an Order the effect of which would be to temporarily restrict traffic in the roads listed in the Schedule to this Notice.
2.Whilst the restrictions remain in force:-
(a)the roads or sections of road listed in Column 1 of the Schedule to this Notice will be closed to vehicular traffic at their junctions with the roads listed in Column 2 of that Schedule;
(b)parking in small sections of the roads listed in the Schedule to this Notice will be suspended as necessary to provide turning areas and waiting and loading restrictions will apply “at any time”.
3. The Order will come into operation on 29 May 2020 and will remain in force for a maximum duration of 18 months.
4.These restrictions shall not apply in respect of:
(a) a pedal cycle;
(b) a vehicle being used for fire brigade, ambulance or police purposes;
(c) anything done with the permission of a police constable in uniform or a civil enforcement officer;
(d) a vehicle being used for the purposes of a statutory undertaker in an emergency, such as the loss of supplies of gas, electricity or water to premises in the area, which necessitates the bringing of vehicles into a section of road to which the order applies.

ST. GEORGE’S WALK, CROYDON
TEMPORARY RESTRICTION OF VEHICULAR TRAFFIC
1. Croydon Council HEREBY GIVES NOTICE that to facilitate reinstatement works, they have made an Order to the effect of which would be to temporarily restrict vehicular traffic in St. George’s Walk.
2. Whilst the said works are taking place St George’s Walk will be closed to southbound traffic between its junctions with Park Street and Katharine Street.
3. Whilst the closure is in place the alternative route will be via Wellesley Road, Station Road, North End, London Road, Sumner Road, Mitcham Road, Roman Way, Old Town, Pump Pail North, The Croydon Flyover and Park Lane
4.The Order will come into operation on 23 May 2020 and it is anticipated that the works will be carried out within approximately two days between 9am and 5pm each day. However, the Order will remain in force for 18 months to be reintroduced should further works be required.
5.These restrictions shall not apply in respect of:
(a)any vehicle involved in carrying out the said works;
(b)any vehicle being used for fire brigade, ambulance or police purposes;
(c)anything done with the permission of a police constable in uniform or a Civil Enforcement Officer.
