(On-Street Parking Places) (Civil Enforcement Area) (Amendment No.5)
Order 2020
Notice is hereby given that the Essex County Council has made the above Order under
Sections 1(1), 2(1) to (3), 3(2), 4(1), 4(2), 32(1), 35(1), 45, 46, 49, 53 and Parts III and IV
of Schedule 9 of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984.
Effect of the order:
1. To revoke the Disabled Badge Holders only bays on the following lengths of roads in
the District of Tendring:
Road Description
Edward Street,
Parkeston
NORTH-EAST SIDE: From approximately 2 metres north-west of the
north-western boundary of No.18 Edward street, south-east for
approximately 6.6 metres.

Oxford Crescent,
Clacton
NORTH-EAST SIDE:
From a point level with the boundary of Nos.84 & 84a Oxford
Crescent, south-east for approximately 5.5 metres.
From the boundary of numbers 18 & 20, north-west for
approximately 6.6 metres.

2. To upgrade the following advisory disabled bays to enforceable Disabled Badge
Holders Only bays on the following lengths of roads in the District of Tendring:

No: 62 & 63 King Georges Avenue, north-west for approximately
5 metres

3. To revoke the existing ‘Permit Holders Zone A & Limited Waiting 2 Hours no Return
4 Hours’ restrictions to allow for the installation of Disabled Badge Holders only bays
on the following length of Anchor Road, Clacton in the District of Tendring:

NORTH SIDE: From the boundary of No: 26 & 24 Anchor Road, east for
approximately 5.5 metres.
NORTH SIDE: From the boundary of No: 36 & 38 Anchor Road,
west for approximately 5.5 metres.

This Order will be incorporated into The Essex County Council (Tendring District)
(Prohibition of Waiting, Loading and Stopping) and (On-Street Parking Places) (Civil
Enforcement Area) Consolidation Order 2019 by introducing TM245 315 revision 0 and
substituting tile numbers TM230 320, TM175 157, TM175 155, TM250 312, TM170 152,
TM165 157, TM175 155, TM170 150 revision 0 to revision 1.
Date of operation: The Order will come into operation on 26 May 2020.

Documents can be made available for inspection 8.30am-5.30pm Mon-Thurs and
8.30am-5pm on Friday at Essex County Council, County Hall E block main reception,
Market Road, Chelmsford if so required following the current social distancing
restrictions. Alternatively documents can be posted to you upon request.
Application to the high court: Anyone who wishes to question the validity of the Order
of any provision contained in it on the grounds that it is not within the powers conferred
by the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 or on the grounds that any requirement of the
Act, or any instrument made under it, has not been complied with in relation to the Order,
may within six weeks from the date of the making of the Order apply to the High Court
for this purpose.
