Notice is hereby given that the Wiltshire Council has made Orders to close temporarily to all traffic: A) A338 Park Road (Part), Tidworth; from its junction with Ashdown Terrace to its junction with Station Road; B) A338 Pennings Road (Part), Tidworth; from its junction with Lahore Road to its junction with Meerut Road; C) Station Road (Part), Tidworth; from its junction with A338 Park Road to its junction with Drummer Lane; D) Lahore Road, Tidworth; from its junction with A338 Pennings Road to its junction with Bulford Road to enable Enabling works to remove existing Traffic islands, Signals & associated equipment. Install 4-way temporary PTS & temporary white lining. Alternative route: via A338 (unaffected length) - A3026 - A342 -Amesbury Road - A303 and vice versa. This Order which previously came into operation on 14 April 2020 will recommence on 18 May 2020 and the closure will be required between the hours 20:00 and 06:00 until 21 May 2020. E) Dinton Road (Part), Wylye; from its junction with Foyles Mead for a distance of approximately 50 metres in a southerly direction to enable Centurion to carry out works on the level crossing. Alternative route: via Dinton Road (unaffected length) -Dinton Beeches - Wylye Road - Marshwood -Steep Hollow - St Marys Road - B3089 - C77 -Chilmark Road - A303 - C10 and vice versa. This Order which previously came into operation on 26 October 2019 will now recommence on 23 May 2020 and the closure will be required between the hours of 23:30 and 09:30 until 24 May 2020. The closures and diversion routes will be clearly indicated by traffic signs.
It is anticipated that the works will take the stated duration to complete depending upon weather conditions. Access will be maintained for residents and businesses where possible, although delays are likely due to the nature of the works.
