UNDER SECTION 14/1 OF THE ROAD TRAFFIC REGULATION ACT 1984 WEST BERKSHIRE DISTRICT COUNCIL (THE COUNCIL) INTENDS TO MAKE ORDERS AS FOLLOWING (KINGSTON LANE, SULHAMSTEAD) (TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF DRIVING) ORDER 2020
The Council intends, not less than seven days from the date of this notice, to make an order the effect of which will be to prohibit any vehicle from proceeding in any direction over Kingston Lane in the parish of Sulhamstead between its junction with Sulhamstead Hill and its junction with Shortheath Lane. The alternative route for all vehicles affected by the Order is via Sulhamstead Hill, Sulhamstead Rd, Island Farm Rd, Shortheath Lane, and vice versa. The purpose of this Order is to enable works to take place on or near the highway namely for Thames Water to install a new service connection. The proposed Order will come into effect on 1st June 2020. It is envisaged that the closure will be in place during the hours of 08:00 and 17:00 each day between 2nd and 6th June 2020.

(BYWAY WOKE 14/1) (TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF PEDESTRIANS, CYCLISTS, VEHICLES AND EQUESTRIANS) ORDER 2019
The Council with permission from the Secretary of State for Transport has extended the existing (BYWAY WOKE 14/1) (TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF PEDESTRIANS, CYCLISTS, VEHICLES AND EQUESTRIANS) ORDER 2019 Order the effect of which will be to continue to prohibit any vehicle, cyclist, equestrian or pedestrian from using Byway 14/1 in the Parish ofWokefield between Byway 13/1 in the Parish ofWokefield and Byway 35 in the Parish of Shinfield (Wokingham). The alternative route for all users affected by the Order is via Bloomfield Hatch Lane, Pump Lane, Shepherdton Lane and vice versa.
The purpose of this Order is to enable works to be executed on or near the Byway Open To All Traffic, namely for an unsafe bridge to be repaired or replaced. The extension shall continue in place from Friday 15th May 2020 and will remain in force until Sunday 16th November 2020.
Unless stated otherwise the above orders shall remain in force for a period of eighteen months, or until the works are complete, whichever is the soonest, they will not take effect until approved traffc signs have been erected. Final details of the closure can be viewed on roadworks.org
