Notice is hereby given that Francis Pub Group Ltd has applied in respect of the The Crown, Main Road, Wormingford, Colchester Essex CO6 3AB, for a variation to the Premises Licence under the Licensing Act 2003 Removal of the following conditions - All external doors and windows must be kept closed after 23.00 other 3AB than for access and egress, in all rooms when events involving amplified sound are taking place. No live or amplified music to be played in the open air after 23.00 Sunday-Thursday or after 23.30 Friday and Saturday (including temporary structures such as marquees and tents). In addition to these five further events per year are allowed on a Friday or Saturday, which must cease at midnight. Provision of alcohol sales off the premises from 11.00 to 23.30 on Sundays, 11.00 to 00.00 Mondays to Thursdays, and 11.00 to 00.30 Fridays and Saturdays. Performance of dance Mondays to Sundays from 11.00 to 23.00. Representations to this application must be made in writing, by 2nd June 2020, to the Licensing Manger, Colchester Borough Council, Licensing Authority, Rowan House, 33 Sheepen Road, Colchester, CO3 3WG. The register of licensing applications can be inspected online at www.colchester.gov.uk and between 09.00 and 17.00 Monday to Friday at the offices of Colchester Borough Council at Rowan House, Colchester. It is an offence on summary conviction, to knowingly or recklessly make a false statement in connection with this application, the maximum fine for which is, £5000.
