NOTICE OF VACANCY IN OFFICE OF COUNCILLOR
MALVERN TOWN COUNCIL PICKERSLEIGH WARD
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN
That a casual vacancy has arisen in the Office of Councillor for Malvern Town Council's Pickersleigh Ward following the resignation of Councillor Jeremy Thomas
If by 22 May 2020, a request for an election to fill said vacancy is made in writing to the Returning Officer at the address below by TEN electors for the Pickersleigh Ward, an election will be held to fill the said vacancy, otherwise the vacancy will be filled by co-option.
Due to the current restrictions in place to contain the spread of the coronavirus (Covid 19), if an election is called the poll will not take place before 6 May 2021 under the Local Government and Police and Crime Commissioner (Coronavirus) (Postponement of Elections and Referendums) (England and Wales) Regulations 2020.
