Highways Act 1980 Section 25
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Deed of Dedication made on 20th April 2020 under Section 25 of the Highways Act 1980 and Section 2 of the Local Government Act 2000 has the effect of dedicating for use by the public bridleway described in Part 1 of the Schedule below and shown on the Plan, A copy of the Deed and Plan are available at request free of charge, either by post or by contacting

Under Section 25, there is no right of objection and the Dedication has taken immediate effect.
SCHEDULE
Description of New Public Bridleway
The route runs from Manchester Road, Leigh between properties No. 367 & 369 from grid reference 367903 399751 in a northerly direction to where the existing public footpaths Leigh No.145 & 148 split at grid reference 367911 399930. The existing surface is tarmac. Total overall length of route is approximately 180 metres. Limitations and Conditions There are no limitations or conditions. Should a situation arise of misuse then a suitable limitation will be considered.
