District of Sedgemoor Parishes of Chedzoy and Bridgwater Without

Temporary Closure of Chedzoy Lane and Higher Road TAKE NOTICE that in pursuance of Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulations Act 1984, as amended by the Road Traffic (Temporary Restrictions) Act 1991, the County Council of Somerset propose to make an Order PROHIBITING ALL TRAFFIC from proceeding along Chedzoy Lane and Higher Road from the junction with A39 Bath Road to the junction with Front Street for a distance of 2400 metres. This order will enable Truespeed Communications to install a new telegraph pole and associated works including clearing blockages. The Order becomes effective on 05 May 2020 and will remain in force for eighteen months. The works are expected to start on 11 May 2020 and last for 12 days.
