TEMPORARY ROAD CLOSURE OF SOUTHAMPTON ROAD. EASTLEIGH
By arrangements made under section 19 of trie Local Government Act 2000 with Hampshire County Council, notice is hereby given that Eastleigh Borough Council has made a temporary closure order pursuant to the legislation above as the Council is satisfied that traffic (and/or pedestrians) on the road(s) below should be restricted because works are proposed to be executed on or near the road, the effect of which is detailed below.
Roads affected:
Southampton Road between its junction with Derby Road and Grantham Road
Alternative Route:
Chestnut Avenue, Passfield Avenue, Leigh Road and vice versa
Reason for Closure:
Manhole frame and cover replacement works Period of Closure:
Tuesday 28 April 2020, 00:01 to Wednesday 29 April 2020, 23:59, notwithstanding it is expected that the closure will only be in force from 10pm to 5am
