District of Sedgemoor Parish of Bridgwater Without

Temporary Closure of Dunwear Lane and River Lane TAKE NOTICE that In pursuance of Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulations Act 1984, as amended by the Road Traffic (Temporary Restrictions) Act 1991, the County Council of Somerset propose to make an Order PROHIBITING ALL TRAFFIC from proceeding along Dunwear Lane and River Lane from Dunwear Lane; the junction with Plum Lane southwards into River Lane southwards to outside Small Industries Estate Approach for a distance of 760 metres.

This order will enable A-Plant Lux Traffic Control on behalf of BT Open reach to carry out overhead network cabling for new customer connection works.

The Order becomes effective on 05 May 2020 and

will remain in force for eighteen months. The works

are expected to start on 11 May 2020 and last for

9 days (09.30-15.30hrs).
