STOUR ROAD, CHRISTCHURCH GAS MAIN REPLACEMENT

TEMPORARY TRAFFIC REGULATION ORDER 2020

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that Bournemouth, Christchurch and Poole Council intends to make temporary traffic regulations, with the effects detailed below, to control traffic.

WHAT & WHERE: Stour Road - between the junctions of Gleadowe Avenue and Barrack Road - road closed to all vehicles, no waiting, no loading or unloading. No right turn from Stour Road (northern section) onto Barrack Road.

WHEN: From 7am on Monday 4 May 2020 until Friday 12 June 2020.

WHY: Gas mains replacement by Southern Gas Network.

ACCESS: Full emergency services access will be maintained.

Access for residents will be maintained depending on site safety.

DIVERSION: Via Stour Road, Belle Vue Road and Barrack Road.

These arrangements may be extended should works overrun or weather conditions delay operations and restrictions may be in effect under this Order for up to 18 months.

The Council regrets any inconvenience to the public caused by this Traffic Order.
