Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984
Notice is hereby given that Wiltshire Council has made an Order to: Close temporarily to all traffic: a) Allington Track, Allington; from its junction with A303 to its junction with A338; b) Arundel Track, Allington; from its junction with Allington Track to its junction with A338; c) C288 (Part), Idmiston; from its junction with A345 to its junction with A338. And to temporary no waiting at any time to all traffic on: a) Allington Track, Allington; from its junction with A303 to its junction with A338; b) Arundel Track, Allington; from its junction with Allington Track to its junction with A338; c) C288 (Part), Idmiston; from its junction with A345 to its junction with A338 to enable Clear emergency access and egress from the airfield. No alternative route is available;access will be maintained for residents and businesses. The restrictions will be clearly indicated by traffic signs and cones. These restrictions which follows an emergency notice will come into operation on 04 April 2020 and it will be required intermittently for operational reasons until 30 June 2020. Notice is hereby given that the Wiltshire Council has made an Order to close temporarily to all users: Footpath 74 (Part), Salisbury; from its junction with Shady Bower for a distance of approximately 48 metres in a westerly direction to enable Construction works relating to a new nursing home. Planning reference 18/06366/FUL. Alternative routes: via Footpath 74 Salisbury (unaffected length) - Westbourne Close - Manor Farm Road and vice versa. The closure and diversion route will be clearly indicated by traffic signs. This Order which was due to expire on 31 March 2020 will now continue in force for a further four months or until completion of the works, whichever is the earliest. The Order will have a maximum duration of six months. Notice is hereby given that the Wiltshire Council has made Orders to close temporarily to all traffic: A) Poores Road, Durrington; from its junction with B3085 Bulford Road to its junction with The Avenue to enable Tarmac to carry out carriageway resurfacing and associated maintenance works. Alternative route: via The Avenue - Coronation Road - B3085 Bulford Road and vice versa. junction with Whatcombe Brow for a distance of approximately 100 metres in a southerly direction to enable HSC on behalf of BT to renew one telegraph pole. Alternative route: via The Gibbett (unaffected length) - A360 - C291 and vice versa. This Order will come into operation on 30 March 2020 and the closure will be required between the hours of 09:00 and 15:00 for one day. The closures and diversion routes will be clearly indicated by traffic signs. It is anticipated that the works will take the stated duration to complete depending upon weather conditions. Access will be maintained for residents and businesses where possible, although delays are likely due to the nature of the works.
