ROAD TRAFFIC REGULATION ACT 1984

Westfarook Cres (Prohibition of Driving) Temporary Order 2020 Notice is hereby given that the Council made an Order under Section 14 of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984. The effect of which is to introduce a prohibition of driving on Westbrook Cres from its jet. with Cromwell Ave to its jet. with Garwood CI. The Order will be effective from 4th April 2020 for 1 week, when signed on site. The alternative route will be via Cromwell Ave, Westbrook Way & vice versa. The closure is required to allow for road widening works to take place. Ref: High/2110



Access will be under the control of the relevant Contractor for the duration of the works.

The Borough of Warrington (Academy Street) (Prohibition of Right Turns & Prohibition of Left Turn) Order 2020 Notice is hereby given that the Council made an Order under Sections 1,2 & 4 to the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 & of all other enabling powers on 25th March 2020. The effect of the Order is as follows:-

1) To prohibit any motor vehicle, except for Pedal Cycles, proceeding on the southwest bound carriageway of Academy Way from making a right hand turn onto Academy St.



2) To prohibit any motor vehicle, except for Pedal Cycles & Taxis, proceeding on the northeast bound carriageway from the Time Square surface level car park & service area access road from making a left hand turn onto Academy St.



3) To prohibit any motor vehicle, except for Pedal Cycles & Taxis, proceeding on the southwest bound carriageway from the residential development access road on the north east side of Academy St from making a right hand turn onto Academy St.



The Order will be effective from 1st April 2020. Ref: Net/1552



The Borough of Warrington (Traffic Management) (Civil Enforcement) Consolidation (Amendment No. 12) Order 2020 Notice is hereby given that the Council made an Order under Sections 1,2,4 & Part IV of Schedule 9 to the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 & of all other enabling powers on 25th March 2020. The effect of the Order is as follows:-1. The Borough of Warrington (Traffic Management) (Civil Enforcement) Consolidation Order 2018, is hereby further varied or amended as follows:-

(a) In the 3rd Schedule by the addition of No Waiting at Any Time: Grange Ave (East Side) - From approx. 13m south of its jet. with Reynolds St to approx. 9m north of its jet. with Reynolds St; Longdin St (North Side) - From approx. 8m west of its jet. with Tinsley St to approx. 8m east of its jet. with Tinsley St; Reynolds St (North Side) - From its jet. with Grange Ave for a distance of approx. 7m in an easterly direction; Reynolds St (South side) - From its jet. with Grange Ave for a distance of approx. 11 m in an easterly direction; Tinsley St (East Side) - For its entire length; Tinsley St (West Side)

- From its jet. with Longdin St for a distance of approx. 6m in a northerly direction.



The Order will be effective from 26th March 2020. Ref: Net/1531



The Borough of Warrington (Traffic Management) (Civil Enforcement) Consolidation (Amendment No. 4) (Part 2) Order 2020 Notice is hereby given that the Council made an Order under Sections 1,2,4 & Part IV of Schedule 9 to the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 & of all other enabling powers on 25th March 2020. The effect of the Order is as follows:-1. The Borough of Warrington (Traffic Management) (Civil Enforcement) Consolidation Order 2018, is hereby further varied or amended as follows:-

(a) By the addition of a new Schedule & the following entry thereunder:- Schedule 34d - No Waiting between the hours of midnight to 10:00am. Every Day: Fir Tree CI (Both Sides) - Between a point 25m south & a point 74.2m south of the access road between Tarporley Rd & Fir Tree CI; Fir Tree CI (Both Sides) - Between a point 133.2m south of the access road between Tarporley Rd & Fir Tree CI & its southern most extremity.



(b) By the amendment of Articles 8 & 53(a) being the addition of Schedule 34d to the said Articles.



The Order will be effective from 13th April 2020 & may be cited as "The Borough of Warrington (Traffic Management) (Civil Enforcement) Consolidation (Amendment No. 4) (Part 2) Order 2020. Ref: Net/1511



The Borough of Warrington (Traffic Management) (Civil Enforcement) Consolidation (Amendment No. 8) (Part 2) Order 2020 Notice Is hereby given that the Council made an Order under Sections 1,2,4,32,35 & Part IV of Schedule 9 to the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 & of all other enabling powers on 25th March 2020. The effect of the Order is as follows: -1. The Borough of Warrington (Traffic Management) (Civil Enforcement) Consolidation Order 2018, is hereby further varied or amended as follows:-

(a) In the 79th Schedule by the deletion of:- Disabled Persons Parking Places:



All that part of the south west side of Roman Rd which is bounded on the south west side by so much of the edge of the carriageway of that highway as extends from a point 10m south east of the projected gable end of number 2 Roman Rd in a southerly direction for a distance of 6.6m, all measured along the said road & which has a width throughout of 1.8m

- Parallel to the kerb



(b) In the 79th Schedule by the addition of:- Disabled Persons Parking Places:



All that part of the south west side of Roman Rd which is bounded on the south west side by so much of the edge of the carriageway of that highway as extends from the boundary between numbers 6 & 8 for a distance of 6.6m in a north westerly direction & from the boundary between numbers 6 & 8 for a distance of 6.6m in a south easterly direction, all measured along the said road & which has a width of 1.8m - Parallel to the kerb

The Order will be effective from 6th April 2020 & may be cited as "The Borough of Warrington (Traffic Management) (Civil Enforcement) Consolidation (Amendment No. 8) (Part 2) Order 2020. Ref: Net/1519

Any person who wishes to question the validity of the Orders or of any provision contained in them on the grounds that they are not within the powers conferred by the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 or on the grounds that any requirement of that Act or any instrument made under it has not been complied with in relation to the Orders may, within six weeks from 25th March 2020, apply to the High Court for this purpose.

The Borough of Warrington (Academy Street & Scotland Road) (One Way Traffic & Bus Lane) (Amendment No. 1) Order 2020 Notice is hereby given that the Council made an Order under Sections 1,2,4,5 & Part IV of Schedule 9 of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, as amended ("the 1984 Act") & by virtue of The Road Traffic (Permitted Parking & Special Parking Area)(Borough of Warrington) Order 2006 (Statutory Instrument 2006/3421) made by Order under Section 43 & Schedule 3 of The Road Traffic Act 1991 ("the Act of 1991") & The Bus Lane Contraventions (Approved Local Authorities) (England) (Amendment) (No. 8) Order 2006 (Statutory Instrument 2006/3419) made by The Secretary of State for Transport pursuant to Section 144 of the Transport Act 2000 ("the Act of 2000") & of all other enabling powers on 25th March 2020. The effect of the Order is to amend The Borough of Warrington (Academy St & Scotland Rd) (One Way Traffic & Bus Lane) Order 1991 to allow for the enforcement of bus lane contraventions at the location specified in the Schedule to this Notice.
