The Borough of Blackburn with Darwen

(Beardwood Brow, Blackburn) (Temporary Road Closure) Order 2020

NOTICE is hereby given that the Blackburn with Darwen Borough Council, intend to make the above Order under Section 14(1 )(a) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984.

The effect of the Order is to close Beardwood Brow from its junction with Beardwood Fold to its junction with Ryburn Avenue.

The closure is necessary for the following reason: Gas mains replacement.

The Order will come into force on 16th April 2020 and shall continue in force for a period of eighteen months or until the works are completed, whichever is the earlier. However, it is anticipated that the works will be completed by 6th May 2020.

The alternative route for the affected traffic will be Beardwood Brow, Beardwood, Preston New Road and Revidge Road.

Access for emergency vehicles and pedestrians will be maintained at all times.
